The birthplace of Picasso is as colorful as an artists palette, from the deep blue of the Mediterranean Sea to the golden sun, which gives 300 days of sunshine per year. Malaga is now our favourite city. Every time we visit Spain(twice a year at least) we always take a couple of sleepovers in Malaga. It’s a very exciting city. There’s so much wonderful art and music to experience. You are spoilt for choice as to where to eat. Don’t always stop at the first one you come to- wander down side streets and find places Spanish people go to!!

Th.e river separates the old town from the modern one: both are clean, safe and interesting. The tourist buses (25 euros/24 h.) cover everything in less than an hour and spare you climbing the Gibralfaro mountain to see glamorous villas and spectacular views. But Malaga is perfectly walkable. One should take the opportunity to cross the less touristy quarters and to enjoy the local food there.
