Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Resort & Casino's atmosphere receives mixed reviews, with some guests appreciating the spacious rooms, but others finding the loud pool music and dated decor off-putting. Noise is a common complaint, particularly from elevators and external sources. Cleanliness and service often fall short of expectations, with reports of inconsistent housekeeping and frustrating service delays. While the central location on the Strip is a highlight, guests criticize the hotel for hidden fees and poor value, feeling that additional charges diminish the overall affordability and experience.

Have just returned from a 5 night stay at Planet Hollywood and having never visited Vegas before, I’m very glad we picked this hotel!
It’s central on the strip and there’s lots within walking distance. Having walked to other hotels for a nosey, I’m glad we didn’t pick to stay in ones further away from the centre (Luxor, Mandalay Bay or Wynn).
The hotel was exactly what we needed: we’d asked for adjoining rooms as we were a party of 4 and that is exactly what we got; the rooms were big and well kept throughout our stay; all communal areas were clean and tidy; staff were always around to help if you needed it too.
Each guest gets $9 per day to spend on Breakfast in the Starbucks too - which is a nice touch!

This was our first stay at PH, and we chose it for the simple fact that it was about the same rate as Harrah's & Bally's, but was reportedly a higher class of hotel than the previous. It was important that we would have a hotel with a multitude of restaurants on site, a variety of gaming options, and a show or two that we may want to see. We were given a room on the 9th floor, that was strip view. We had a great view of the pool, Cosmo and Belagio, but we weren't high enough to see the fountain show. The room itself was clean, bed was comfortable and the bathroom had both a shower and a soaking tub. Housekeeping was in daily for a room tidy and to change out linens.

Casino was lively, minimum table bets around $10 - $25, variety of slot machines, good music and a relatively fun atmosphere. Security was present at the entrances as well as the elevators.

Staff was attentive, friendly and helpful - no issues there.

My biggest complaint was the smoke. There was a clear difference in the early morning hours, once the filtration system had a chance to clear the air, vs. 12am, or peak casino times. I expect to go to Vegas and be exposed to smoke, but the higher end hotels have really improved their filtration systems, and I expected a similar experience at PH, but was disappointed. Even on the Mez level, while sitting in the theater, my eyes and throat burned from the smoke that was in the air.

The Hotel was clean and comfortable. Room service was always available and cleaning staff were courteous and professional. The Hotel sits in the middle of the strip making it a perfect location to explore the surrounding area. The casino and food were wonderful. Its a good environment for kids and spices things up a bit after hours for adults. Will stay again in future.

Added on Overpriced resort fees for services not used , room was inclusive of continental breakfast but it is actually a $18 credit per couple for Starbucks . 1 coffee and sausage muffin $14 per person ,so expected to top up additional cost for “breakfast “ for a cpl .
Room service is poor , one day returned at 6 pm room still not cleaned , room not vacuumed daily as fluff left on floor from previous day still visible .
Aggressive sales agents touting you in lobby to buy cosmetics .
Great location and room but poor service .
I should have chosen better for my Birthday experience.

We are currently staying here and I would not recommend to stay here. We are in a non smoking floor and it stinks of cigarettes. House keeping is a joke the rooms aren’t amazingly clean. No water provided, if you want hot water you have to buy it from Starbucks. If you ring housekeeping expect a 6 hr wait to have something rectified. Management is a joke spoke to Ricardo who had no compassion and offered no solution but a $50 credit for a 7 night stay, what a joke, after our rooms weren’t cleaned twice and we had to call twice to try and have it cleaned. We found dog poo in the hallway, our rooms were not vacuumed, not enough towels provided we are a family of 4 and they keep supplying us only 3, they are meant to give high speed Internet oh but for only 2 devices that keeps cutting out. We have been in the USA for 3 weeks now and by far this is the worst experience we have had here. I’m really not sure why so many people love it here as I would not recommend it to ANYONE.

Me & my wife arrived dec 29th, on arrival we upgraded our ultra hip resort room to a better room at a extra $200 per night ... room was lovely great view of the strip, however the hall outside our room looked like it had not been hoovered that day full of debris peoples room service plates outside there doors cigarette butts on the plates and on carpet pretty grim, we were wrong they hadn’t not cleared up that day on check out it was exactly as we found it on arrival with the addition of extra debris and more plates, I informed the reception staff who called a manager, I informed her of the state and that I was not happy paying nearly $1700 for 3 nights and they couldn’t be bothered to keep the hotel clean especially given the room we upgraded to had cost us a extra $200, she started to laugh, I was amazed she found this so hilarious, eventually she apologised and agreed it wasn’t on but she would need to send the info to the relevant department and could I email the details and photographs, I did that 3 times and once to the concierge who actually emailed me back apologetic and informed me the relevant person would call me back within 24 hours that was 4 days ago, So expecting that to be “ swept under the carpet “.
I noticed on my bank statements I’ve actually been charged twice again only email with a response was the concierge who again apologised, and the relevant department will be in touch within 24 hours .... 72 hours and nope no contact ! So unfortunately I have had to resort to this feedback to see if I get a response !!
Shame really as we have previously stayed at this hotel and it was fantastic ! Will not return after this fiasco !!
I will give it until tommorow and call my bank to put a charge back on these charges !!!!
Really disappointed we have been treated like this, not the way I expected a well known establishment to treat paying customers.

Check to make sure the water is flowing properly in your room as soon as you get there. My wife noticed that the sink overflowed when washing her face but decided to to act on it as we were on our way out for drinks. When we came back to the room later that night we thought of taking a bath so we left the water running for ~ 30 min. Bad mistake, the tub overflowed due to bad drainage and flooded our room. You would think that the overflow drains in the tubwould keep this from happening but not when the drains are not working properly. We were moved to a room with two very uncomfortable double beds and not the king bed that we originally had in our first room. Also got stuck with a $390 bill for damages as they deemed it our fault the overflow happened. Very dissapointed with the way the staff handled the entire situation.

First off, the parking garage is the same parking as the miracle mile mall and if you don't want to PAY $24 hours a day for valet you have to park in the garage and then haul all your luggage through the entire mall to get to the lobby to check in or just to get to your room, horrible design! The fridge in the room was not working right and had to be turned all the way up to finally cool at all. Smelled like smoke- non smoking room. The bathroom ceiling was nasty above the toilet, brown spots and smear marks that looked like someone shot crap (yes, poop) up there and they could not clean it good (picture attached). The view was terrible, just a wall. When checking in we were asked if we wanted maid service and we selected NO, we didn't want anyone in our room and left personal items out knowing no one would come in. When we came back after being gone several hours our beds were made, new towels etc. & our personal items were moved around the room, why ask if we want that if not going to respect our wishes?! Overall poor experience with this hotel and would not recommend it and we will not stay here again!

I stayed here for 3 nights in February 2020. My room on 17th floor was pretty scruffy, perhaps they have refurbished some rooms but not others. There were stains on the walls, wallpaper peeling off in the bathroom and fittings were loose in the shower.
I used the gym a couple of times. Feels very dated indeed with the spa section feeling like it;s from the '80's. Machines were pretty old but a good selection of free weights. The second time I used it was in the morning (~06:30). I asked for a towel when I arrived and was told there were none. This struck me as very poor, surely you don't want gym users sweating over the equipment and not cleaning up? When I asked again I was told to try in the spa. I asked the guy in the spa and his response: "Not another one, I can't keep giving you big towels." When pressed he found a small towel and said "this is the last one". I thought this service was pretty atrocious really. As a customer using the gym, I felt like a hindrance.
So in summary, my room was poor and the service in gym was very poor. Check in and check out were perfectly good though and my bed was comfortable. I'd suggest there are much better options for the money on the strip...

So many negatives! We arrived at noon and paid an extra $30 for check in. There is no front desk, everything is done at a kiosk. It worked fine but we prefer talking to a person. We arrived at our room and it was clean but facing all the mechanicals outside. The daily resort fee they charge is crazy and I don't know what it covers. When I called to ask if I could switch rooms they said we would have to pay extra because it was considered an upgrade so we stayed. Housekeeping does not come to your room automatically, you need to call every morning. Even when you call they may not come, you can beg one of the housekeepers for towels when you see them in the hallway. The pillows on the bed are teeny tiny. There was a small table in our room that was broken. The tv was terrible, bad reception. For some reason the pool closes at 5 pm which is bizarre. The pool water is FILTHY. There are no chairs near the pool, you have to rent a day bed or cabana for $$$. The location is good, it's in the middle of everything but I would never stay here again. Spend your money on properties with better service and amenities.

There were no interconnecting rooms. You have an option of a room with 2 queen beds. The higher the floor your room is on you get a excellent view.

There are elevators under all the escalators. There is also a ramp that is right in front of PH that you can use a scooter on. If you weren’t looking for it you wouldn’t notice it,
