Like Overton Square below, this is a destination dedicated to celebrating the best of the Memphis way of life – the art, music, culture and soul. Dress Code-Smart casual. Dress to impress. Baseball caps and beanies are not allowed and men must have on a collared shirt, sweater or blazer. All genders no athletic apparel (tank tops, spandex, or sweatpants). Undergarments should not be exposed.

Our parking lot is for overnight hotel guests only. Parking is located at the Overton Square Garage. Please bring a valid ID.

Everything about the Tiger and Peacock is perfect ……… apart from the food. The food is uninspired, poor quality and simply tasteless. So sad as with a little culinary adventure it would be a perfect evening destination. I have now been 6 or 7 times and every time come away disappointed by just the food and it seems to get worse as I remember the first experience as being great. Servers and bar people were fabulous as was the electric storm over Memphis!!!

Celebrating a birthday, the server brought out champagne that we did not ask for but were charged for. Wish that would’ve been communicated because it was not good champagne nor did we want it. Ordered the charcuterie board, pickled vegetables, and the caviar. None of the items required cooking, just plating. Server kept saying the kitchen had to go downstairs “to make the food.” It took over 45 minutes for a cheese plate on a Wednesday at 9pm. The bar had 4 people. Another 30 minutes later and we received the drinks we originally ordered and the pickled vegetables. 2 hours later and still no caviar so we canceled it. Did not see server and was asked if we need anything by several employees. We communicated our needs but everyone kept asking the same thing without actually helping. We were a party of 2.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to review your recent experience with us. I apologize for the long waits and the issues with your check to top it off. We have refunded you the amount for the birthday toast you received. That is just a happy we like to send out for guests to acknowledge their special occasion, and not supposed to be charged to the guest. I am disappointed to hear that multiple people checked in, but wouldn't take ownership of the issues occurring. This will be used as a teaching moment with our staff in hopes to prevent similar situations in the future. We hope to host you again soon as we would like to make the experience up to you.

Fred, Celia, and Dalton took great care of us. Wonderful ambience. So eclectic. And in the heart of the performing arts district in Memphis. We love that we can easily walk to theatres such as Playhouse on the Square, The Circuit Playhouse, Hattiloo, and TheatreWorks - not to mention Ballet Memphis and Opera Memphis. A perfect place to stay and enjoy Memphis!
