Bio

Pia Lindström is heard on Sirius XM Satellite Radio on a program called, "Pia Lindstrom Presents." She talks with everyone from best selling authors like Danielle Steele, Lorrie Moore, Anne Rice; playwrights like David Mamet; musicians such as Kenny Rogers, Jimmy Webb, Judy Collins; Forensic Scientists, Stuntmen and Mystics.

A long time Trustee of the Theatre Development Fund, the largest arts service organization in the country. She is also on the Board of Trustees of the American Theatre Wing and a member of the Tony Award Nominating Committee. Pia Lindström worked in television journalism for three decades in California and New York. She received two Emmy Awards and the New York Associated Press Broadcasters Award for news reporting.

She began her career in San Francisco at KGO-TV, co- hosting a two- hour morning talk show. Transferred to the News Department as a reporter, she covering the tumultuous times of the late 60's in San Francisco.

In the 70's, Pia moved to New York and worked as a News Correspondent for WCBC-TV for three years. After the birth of her first son, she moved to WNBC-TV where she stayed for 23 years; first, as a Reporter then a News Anchor, Public Affairs Host, Arts Editor, and finally as a Movie and Theatre Critic.

She is the daughter of actress, Ingrid Bergman and neurosurgeon Dr. Petter Lindstrom and was born in Stockholm, Sweden. She was raised in Beverly Hills California. Pia lived briefly in Pittsburg, and Salt Lake City. She received a BA degree from Mills College and did graduate work at NYU in New York City.

After college she lived in France and Italy with her siblings, Roberto, Ingrid, and Isabella Rossellini. Pia has seven half brothers and sisters from her mother and father's remarriages, including Peter, Michael, Brita and Karl Lindstrom. Pia has two sons, Justin and Nicholas Daly. She is now married to attorney, Jack Carley and lives in New York City and has a cabin in Idaho. She is presently a New York State Regional Commissioner of Parks and Historic Preservation.
