Widespread Gusty Winds Through Saturday

Below Normal Temperatures Ahead

Tandem weather systems will bring widespread breezy to locally windy conditions through Saturday. Widespread gusts of 25-35 mph will be common during the afternoon and evening hours with localized gusts over 40 mph across portions of southeast CA and the higher terrain of south-central AZ.

A couple of weather disturbances will pass through the desert southwest, resulting in a cooling trend. Temperatures will fall below normal levels with highs only in the low to mid 80s through Saturday before a warm up begins by Sunday. There will also breezy to locally windy conditions each day and a slight chance of showers in southcentral AZ on Saturday.
