Mission Statement

SISC is committed to develop lifelong learners who are equipped with the 5Cs (Character, Competence, Collaboration, Creativity, and Commitment to Achieve) through data-driven and technology-enhanced educational programs to ensure student success in the 21st Century.

Southville is the first international school in the Philippines to offer an International Online K-12 Program. Southville Online Learning or SOL is a program that covers the full curriculum of SISC. Students who enroll in SOL will earn a certificate of completion after each curriculum level. SOL allows students to study at their own pace and in their preferred environment. SOL is teacher-initiated.

Those who will finish SK, Grade 6, and Grade 10 will earn an SISC diploma after graduating from the terminal year of preschool, grade school, and junior high school respectively. The Online Senior High School program at Southville is the best choice for students who wish to receive an international degree at their convenience. Southville is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (W.A.S.C.), USA. Graduates get into Top Universities such as Harvard University, Imperial College London, and Seoul National University. This will help any student ensure that their K-12 education will be accepted anywhere in the world.

We acknowledge that the COVID-19 pandemic is an unprecedented challenge for all of us, changing the way we live, work and learn. These challenging times require that we adapt to the seemingly ever-changing situations so our students can continue their education while staying safe and healthy at home. Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) will conduct classes at the start of the new academic year using the remote technologies we have available. Many SISC students have been already using these technologies during previous academic years. In addition, SISC’s faculty and staff are developing the skills and competencies needed to deliver hands-on training to students in an online world. We remain committed to the mission of excellence in education that our students and the community expect from SISC while keeping everyone safe and healthy.

When the ECQ started, I felt some hesitation because Southville will do online classes. I had so many ’hows’ and ’buts’ that time given that my kids are just Junior Kinder and Grade 1. What if they cannot focus? What if I cannot make it as a parent? And to my surprise, Southville was able to surpass more than my expectation. I saw and felt how hardworking and passionate the teachers were during the online class. Learning is really possible even outside the school. The online class taught my children not only about the lessons discussed by teachers but also about how to be independent and be focused on their classes even outside the school environment. At the same time, it was also a good way to bond with my children while I helped them with some lessons. I truly appreciate all the teachers who helped us in this journey, Southville teachers are very approachable and dedicated to providing a better quality of education amidst the challenges.
