Besides the intense action and great writing in the new Netflix series Cobra Kai, much of the show's success lies in its cast. From veteran actors like Ralph Macchio and William Zabka (who are back in their roles as Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence, respectively), to newbies like Xolo Maridueña and Jacob Bertrand, the cast is filled with immense talent, and season three is bound to be even better than the first two.

Another breakout in the cast is Peyton List, the actress that plays Tory Nichols. Tory is a strong fighter and one of Miguel's love interests, but she tends to be destructive, and during the fight in the season two finale she employed the usage of several dirty tactics, including a spiked bracelet, when she fought Samantha.

And while List is new to Cobra Kai, she's definitely not new to the world of acting. The 22-year-old first began her career as a child model, and she's starred in a myriad of film and TV roles since then. Here's what else you need to know about her.

Peyton List has a twin brother.

List's brother Spencer is also an actor, and he's appeared in projects including CSI: Miami, iCarly, The Fosters, and Bunk'd, which Peyton also starred in. In 2016, List told an outlet about the connection she and Spencer share. "Once I was having an especially rough day and was really emotional. Spencer was across town filming and just randomly started feeling upset because he could feel something was wrong with me.... I feel we will always have a deeper connection and we can read each other without saying anything," List revealed

List has probably been in at least one of your favorite movies.

List has been acting since she was a child, and her film work includes The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Bereavement, Something Borrowed, and the upcoming Adam Sandler movie Hubie Halloween.

"I felt like I’ve learned so much just from being twelve and sitting [on set] watching directors, camera operators and everyone work. When you are young, they take you in under their wing and are like 'here, you want to come control or get behind the camera?' They talk to you, help you out and give you lots of tips and pointers," List once told Schon Magazine. "I feel like I just learned so much from being there and observing. We were talking about that with makeup — being twelve, I didn’t do makeup but I would just watch the mirror and learn things from everyone around me. I feel like that’s been such a blessing."

And the actress has been in a number of TV shows too.

All My Children, Jessie, Austin & Ally, Ultimate Spider-Man, and Light as a Feather. List also directed the "Game of Totems" episode of Bunk'd.

The former Disney star opened up about leaving her role on Bunk'd in 2018, and she told a fan that, "I’ve aged out of children’s shows. I love all of those people so much from the show....Everyone grows up and stars new projects. Grateful for everyone who has ground up with me and will continue to."

List joined Cobra Kai in season two.

List needed to train in martial arts before starting the show, and her stunt double Jahnel Curfman told Cheat Sheet that she picked up the moves quickly.

"Peyton was going back and forth between Atlanta and L.A. quite a bit because she had some other projects she was still working on. The amount of time we got with her was very little, "Curfman said. "Luckily for us, she picked up choreography very quickly. She was very open to learning and to really perfecting her method and choreography as much as she possibly could."
