There are some bridges where you can walk over and even a playground for children! Several of the other restaurants that used to be there are also gone, Large selection of slot machines. - Joe LNew York City, NY98 contributionsMy family and I did the 'Gambler' escape room at Breakout KC. Having done close to 50 escape rooms across the country, this was probably in our top 5. It had some very unique and well engineered solutions, and was very logical and linear. This is one of their most difficult escape rooms, so if you don't have at least 4 experienced escapers, perhaps choose another room (there are many to pick from). The staff was friendly and our game master Jamal was great. We told her this was our first time and she explained everything. Gave us a little help when needed. Would recommend, my kids wanted to go back the next day! We thought it was going to be scary, but it was just creepy enough to be challenging. The actor and the hostess were awesome! I wish they had more rooms to do. It's super high priced to play if you don't go on a night when you can get a good discount package.We only go when we can get unlimited play. My girls like the food, but they are kids and it doesn't take much to impress them. As an adult, the buffet is PATHETIC. I was there 2 nights ago for my daughter's 10th birthday. It sealed the deal that I will never eat there again. It was 6:00 pm, when you'd think they would have a lot of customers for dinner. All of the food was SO old. The mashed potatoes, gravy and macaroni and cheese all had a hard crust on them. The 3 partial pizzas they had out looked like plastic food. The roasted chicken was SO dry from sitting under a heat lamp for who knows how long. The tables around us were covered in dirty dishes that were not cleaned for more than an hour of us being there. There's never more than 2-3 other people eating at the buffet, if that. No wonder they can't keep the food fresh. They don't have enough patrons coming in to eat it so they can refresh it.
In closing, this place is awesome for fun if you have young kids and can get a discount price, but stay FAR AWAY from the buffet. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the girls liked the team set up and the course. Even though my 6 year old niece didn’t use it, there is also an arcade room and vending machines for snacks. I liked that there were cc TVs to watch the girls while they played, as well. - Todd RGrand Rapids, MI9 contributionsThis was the worst experience I've had anywhere in a long time. 1) you lost my reservation. 2) we got to ours bays 1 hour after our reservation. 3) our twice pre-ordered apps were late. 4) no wait staff greeted us for over 15 minutes 5) no manager in charge was impowered to make any decisions, instead left most issues up to young wait staff to handle.
