Osuna Park

Osuna Park is Peoria's oldest city park, dating to the early 1900s. It is named after Johnny E. Osuna, a former city councilmember serving from 1980-1987. The park features many amenities including a decorative walking path, architectural steel trellises with picnic areas and a grassy turf centerpiece.

The arts are highlighted at Osuna Park with tile mosaics, bronze sculptures, and the public art piece "Back on Track" by artist Kevin Berry, which was installed by the Peoria Arts Commission in 2013. A unique feature within Osuna Park is Harmony Park, an interactive outdoor musical display featuring musical bells, tubes, and a xylophone. The free attraction is open to all ages and abilities.

The park also features a public restroom building styled to look like a historic railroad depot, which speaks to Peoria's history as a stop on the Santa Fe Railroad. Adjacent to the park is the historic Peoria Jail House, constructed in 1939 by the Works Progress Administration (WPA).
