The only place I have been in that has a bar but doesn’t have it open. Keno at the machine is only optional when they feel like having it. It is not broken! They just need the cash at the till. They claim lack of...workers for the bar being closed since 2020, however if they paid their workers they would stop quitting. If the food was better I would say maybe it would be worth it. Way over priced for what you get.More

Our waitress was so high on drugs that she couldn’t even speak. She was slurring and we ended up walking about because she never came back to take our order. I won’t be back if they have staff so high they can’t help their customers....The management needs to do drug testsMore

My husband and I like to check out new places to eat. This is one we will NEVER return to. The food was worse than mediocre, not anything I would ever want to order again. The drinks were awful as well; I was served one...of the worst Long Islands I have ever had. Our waitress was extremely slow and didn't seem to care about us. Overall, the place itself was dirty- our table was filthy, our silverware was filthy, and the bathrooms were appalling. The worst part of it all: I paid with my debit card, and when I looked at my statement online I noticed that they charged me more than I what I wrote. I called them, and they said that they automatically add a 20% tip on the weekends! I have never heard of a restaurant doing that before. I do not recommend this place to anybody!More

Just returned from the Penalty Box and had a bad experience. My Family and I had a coupon from Restaurant.com and told the waitress about it before placing our orders. I asked if we could use the coupon on the buy one get one free...pizza and she said "yes". I asked the waitress Amy about the Chicken Parmesan....menu said it was served on a bed of fettuccine noodles, i asked if it came with a tomato sauce or an alfredo sauce, she went and asked the cook and he said alfredo so, I ordered it. I had to wait about a half hour for my salad and about 45 min for our food order. My son ordered a reuben and asked for thousand island dressing, pizza came with no napkins, silverware or plates, chicken parm. came with tomato sauce. Amy offered to take my parm. back but i had already waited 45 min. and said no. i finally got up and asked for thousand island dressing, plates and napkins so everyone else could eat, was never asked for refills on our sodas. Now the bill comes and I am informed that i cant use my coupon on the pizza. WTH??? I asked before i placed our order? I asked for the manager and the bar maid came over in place because the manager was a cook.She said on the coupon it says not to be used with other offers.....again, I asked if i could use it before placing the order.The waitress offered to pay for our pizza which i refused. I could tell she was new and I was pissed that management was not standing behind her mistake. Final outcome, we did not get to use our coupon. Not a thing was done for us for the poor service either. We did leave the waitress a tip, i felt bad for her, she was trying to make up for her mistake. Poor management though.More

I love hockey, and all detroit sports thats one of the reasons I have gone to the penalty box since it has been open. Lately it has slid down hill a liitle bit! Service and food have been marginal. Tonight I had an awful experience...so I won't be back ever again. I ordered the $16.99 ribeye steak, and when it came to my table my first 3 bites were all grissle. I asked the waitress to get me another steak, and she said ok! 5 minutes later she came back to my table, and announced that they were out of ribeyes that I had gotten the last one? I told her that I would take a new york strip instead. she said ok that she would have that put on right away. 10 minutes later she came back to my table and said that they were totally out of steaks??? I could not beleive it a friday evening about 7:30 and they were out of steaks. She then asked me if I wanted to order anything else? I said give me the menu, and give me a minute to look at it. 5 minutes later she came back to my table and said that she was mistaken that they did indeed have new york strip steaks? I told her go ahead and put one on for me. I waited 15 min and still did not have my food nor had she come back to check on me. Finally she came back and told me that my steak should be done very soon. Well the party I was with was done eating, and was ready to leave, so I told my waitress to give it to me to go. 5 minutes later she brings my dinner in a bag and asks me if I want my bill? I said yes we are ready to leave. After she brought my bill I was looking at it and it still had a ribeye steak on there. Now I am getting irrated so another waitress saw me and asked if everything was ok? i told her that the ribeye was on the bill? She said that the ribeye, and the new york strip were the same price. She could see I was upset so she offered to get the manager. What a mistake that was! he could have cared less about my dining experience! He said I understand that you thought your ribeye was all fatty and grissle. He said that is that cut of meat that the fat gives it flavor. I said no that it was grissle not fat, and that it was a poor cut of meat. he said that he disagreed that they had just picked those steaks up 6 hours earlier from colony market!!! i said it was still a bad cut, and when I asked for another one you did not have any more. then I preceded to tell him I just got my new york strip, and my party was already done eating. he said what do you expect we had to cook you a new steak! i told him forget it that he was not really interested in my complaint. he told me not to tell him what he was interested in that he wanted to make us happy. He offered to buy us a drink Whoopee!!! I told him No he really did not care about my problem and I did not want his drink. He proceeded to tell me that there are some people you just can't make happy. By now I am steaming and I am holding my bill and my credit card in my hand because my waitress never came back to pick it up. he then says that he will give my bill, and credit card to my server. never once during this whole ordeal did he apologize or offer to comp my meal! An apology would have been sufficient. the waitress brought me my receipt apologized up and down again! I wrote in my tip and signed my bill, and we left the penalty box for the VERY LAST TIME!! My husband who eats out regularly for lunch would say this is the best venue in the area. The taste, portions and quality are always great and consistent :-) The tapas are my favorite and he likes a variety of Chicken sandwiches and dishes. Great...place to watch sporting events or late night dancing~More

Rating given due to interior appearance. Good food. Service always good. But turn-offs: Bathroom is deplorable! Feel creepy having to use! Restaurant Floor looks very worn and unclean. If they did some remodeling, the place would benefit greatly!!

We stopped in for a mid-afternoon glass of wine and being out-of-towners were surprised at what we found. There are framed hockey jerseys and gloves on the walls as well as Stanley Cup Championship banners hanging from the ceiling. There are ample t v screens...that show sports events and sport themed movies. As a snack we ordered fries which were excellent. They were the steak variety and seasoned with garlic pepper. Service was cordial and quick.More

The service was alright and some of the food was alright. My Girlfriend got Chicken tenders and they were the worst I've ever had. They were dried out and had no flavor. And on top of that they added 7 dollars to the tip that...we wrote down on the receipt. Luckily the person was helpful on the phone when we called back to take car of it.More

The atmosphere is decent, the food is decent, but this place is dirty!! The bathrooms are literally filthy. My son refused to use the men's room. If the bathrooms are that gross and the dining area is obviously not kept clean...what does your kitchen look...like? For that reason alone, I'm out. There are several other establishments in Fenton that clearly care about the cleanliness of their restaurants. Those are the restaurants that will get my business and hard earned money.More

We had a large group. Considering the fact that we had the large group, the waitress did a great job, although I would think that since we called ahead & made them aware of the large group, they would have made arrangements for extra help....Anyway, food was great. Over all had a great time, but...the bathrooms at this establishment are atrociously disgusting. It makes me sick to even think that if the bathrooms are that disgusting, what does the kitchen look like??? I like this place, a lot. Love the atmosphere. Love patronizing my local establishments, but please clean your bathrooms!!!More

This is a standard sports bar except....you will see families there. Good food. Quiet and relaxing early. Slow paced, especially the staff. This is a good place to go if you are not in a hurry for your food. We have been there lots.
