It seems Jake Paul’s latest opponent is the powers that be on social media.
Recently, a topless image of Paul’s girlfriend, Julia Rose, was removed from Instagram, according to The Sun. The photo in question, which remains on Twitter as of Tuesday, features Rose wearing a “Prblm Child” necklace — a nod to Paul — while the 24-year-old YouTuber covers her nipples.
In response to the move, Paul mimicked Rose’s photo in his own Instagram post, with her covering his chest instead.
“Let’s see if they remove this literally the same thing,” Paul captioned the post on his Instagram Story.
Instagram has a set of community guidelines for users to follow and has barred nudity from the platform. With some users as young as 13, content such as the images of female breasts being squeezed, as well as some photos of female nipples, are prohibited.
Beyond social media, Paul also recently challenged UFC honcho Dana White following the boxer’s knockout win over Tyron Woodley last month. Paul said he would retire from the sport and join the MMA franchise for a fight against Jorge Masvidal if White obliged to certain demands.
In a message posted Saturday on Twitter, Paul called on White to provide long-term health care for all fighters, an increase in the minimum fighter pay for a fight from $12,000 to $50,000, and guaranteeing fighters 50 percent of UFC’s annual revenues.
White responded to Paul’s proposal with a message of his own, calling the amateur boxer “stupid.”
“Nobody on earth thinks you really wrote that,” White said. “You’re too stupid.”
While Paul’s fighting career is up in the air, one thing is for certain, more steamy snaps between Paul and Rose are likely ahead. To kick off the new year, Rose posted a photo of herself in what appeared to be a bra as she kissed Paul.
“2022 … we’re ready for you,” Rose shared with her 957,000 Instagram followers.
The couple first crossed paths on the set of Paul’s music video in 2019.
