‘Idiot’ Conor McGregor may have lunged at Machine Gun Kelly because he thought it was Jake Paul

Former UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor may have been confused during his stint at the MTV VMA awards last weekend in Brooklyn, which could explain why “Notorious” lunged at Machine Gun Kelly on the red carpet.

McGregor likely mistook him for “sleepy’ chain maker Jake Paul.

“Some people are saying that Conor McGregor mistook him for me because we look the same, like blonde hair, little bit tall,” Paul told ESPN. “That was like the rumor that happened, I think it’s hilarious. Conor McGregor is a real fighter, why is he on a celebrity red carpet throwing drinks at Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly? It’s just disrespectful. But Kells handled himself like a professional, he didn’t get hot, he didn’t retaliate because I think he knows that Conor just looked like an idiot. This guy is falling apart and trying to find any reason to get attention.”

Or perhaps his latest antics were a “cry for help.”

Paul has a long and mildly entertaining track record of trolling McGregor on social media, so it would not come as much surprise to learn that “Notorious” was letting his hands go on sight. And by his own admission, McGregor never heard of Machine Gun Kelly.

Maybe the “Rap Devil” can get revenge by lunging at this guy?
