I go to Normandy High School. When I first went to this school the grades were 8-12 in one building. All our sports teams were decent but never very good. Now is my senior year and Parma Senior High and Normandy converged making the grades to a normal freshman to senior high school. This created a large impact on our parking lot space and time getting out of it after school. However, this merge made our sports teams much better making out girls soccer team with the most amount of wins they ever have in the past 6 years.
I attended PCSD my entire school career and I would tell you to avoid this school district at all costs. Did not prepare me for college, the faculty especially administration did not care about your education or well being. Of course there were a few extraordinary teachers, but that does not make up for the lacking administration. Overall I felt like my time was wasted here and through hard work on my own, 10 years later, I was able to prepare myself to obtain my doctorate degree in nursing. With more support in high school to prepare me for college academically I believe strongly I could have had a better beginning to my college career.
Low performance rate as students and teachers don't care, also the students can pass the grade without effort and the teachers can give free diplomas.
