Towing

Six (6) or more unpaid City of Ann Arbor and/or University of Michigan parking tickets may result in: (1) the impoundment of your vehicle without further notice, or (2) the loss of your right to renew your driver’s license. Towing results in additional expenses incurred by the owner of the vehicle as well as the parking ticket.

What to do if your Car has been Towed

If your car has been towed for unpaid parking tickets, it will not be released until you have either paid all amounts owed. Before release, all towing, and per-day storage charges, must also be paid at the towing company. Payment plans to pay parking tickets are not available. Find out where to go and what steps to take to locate and reclaim a vehicle that has been towed.
