- Ashley WPalm Springs, CA38 contributionsForever Marilyn sculpture is iconic! Standing tall in downtown Palm Springs, it's a must-see for Marilyn Monroe fans and selfie enthusiasts alike.Written April 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Herminefoxy2 contributionsThree artists here plus guest artists. I especially loved Kathleen Strukoff. Bold, impressionistic. She uses mostly a pallet knife. Lots of emotion. Great colors. Lots of mood. Desert scenes, Route 66, old time architecture, trucks, flowers opening in the expansiveness. So cool. And then Ernesto Ramirez, modern Mexican surrealist. Lots of animals but also masked men, teapots, memories of his past. A Dachshund with red and white Mexican flag symbolism and mystical symbols as coloration, monkeys, parrots, bananas, rams. A man talking with a banana instead of a phone. Monochromatic magic with colorful pops. Fun and deep.Written April 19, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- joaniemariaEldridge, IA4,723 contributionsChallenging, steep hike. We went up the steep part directly behind the museum, and came down the North Lykken trail which ends at Ramon street. I did not want to go down the same way we came up. It took about 3 hours total. I would do it again. Be sure to wear good gripping shoes, and bring water. What a feeling of accomplishment! The area at the top has some areas to stop and sit and rest. If you like to hike, this is a good one. The views are fantastic.Written March 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- ann144Auckland Central, New Zealand37 contributionsBy far the most informative museum of local history that we encountered in California. Engaging content that pulls no punches about past injustices and a people’s struggle to adapt and retain their ancestral lands, leaving the visitor with a sense of hope and inspiration. Highly recommend.Written April 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Terry HSeattle, WA738 contributionsWe saw "The Last Full Measure' at this theatre on March 7th. The writer/director, Todd Robinson was there and participated in the Q and A after the showing.
The movie was a wonderful tribute to a Vietnam airman who was heroic beyond any measure. Full of take-away quotes too. 'Pits' should be a model for everyman(woman).
I cannot recommend it more highly.Written March 8, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The cemetery is well groomed and it was interesting to see where the famous are laid to rest. East to access, right on Ramon Road near the airport. A quick 30-minute thing to do.Written January 20, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- LostInTimePittsburgh, PA20,288 contributionsThis statue is about a block away from from the statue of Lucy. It’s also well done. - Nathalie M21 contributionsThis was a fun afternoon for our 2 year old. It was full of kids and, for us adults, the view was incredible. - Sue C.Pittsburgh, PA4,566 contributionsMy husband and I went to the uptown farmers market at the beginning of May when it was still held outdoor. The weather was perfect and there were plenty of items for sale.
We found some excellent fruit and vegetables. Great baked goods. There are lots of other vendors selling prepared foods both hot and cold. Lots of jewelry, candles and soap.

It's right next to H&M and the Rowan. From the pictures, I'd say go at night. I was there in the morning.Written April 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
