Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a good time! Beautiful place, the audio guide is super! Good to know the history! Really good shop! I would love to know more about the Royal Family nowadays!

We passed by this huge building a couple of times in a cab and in a bus and it was striking because of its scale and because of the garden in front. Security forces around, of course. Not sure how much you can see inside.

Honestly, there is nothing to say, the palace is closed to the public due to reconstruction (and the external facade is covered with canvases and scaffolding) all this year and it is not known when it will open. But in any case, even “at the best time” the palace is closed to tourists, with the exception of the end of July and the beginning of September. But if you are planning to visit the BELvue Museum, located next to the palace building, it is an open and well presented exhibition on the history of Belgium, royal life and its dynasties.

Gorgeous building & garden. Sadly when we visited it was getting some work down so we weren't able to go in, but the outside is stunning (as expected for a royal palace!) the area is well kept also!

This is the official but not active residence of the Belgian royal family. It is a huge and encompassing structure in front of a large urban park. Unfortunately it is now under renovation with scaffolding covering most of the premises. It is also not open to public at this moment. Tourists may not find it interesting now.

Not open to the public until 2024 due to renovations. Nothing really special about the building itself. Average European looking drab grey building.

These are big significant buildings in the business and government area of the city. They look great and grand, impressive from the outside.

Worth a quick stop if you are in the area to admire from outside the gates.
It is currently under refurbishment and as a result even the gardens are being left untended which seems a bit odd.

It was closed when we visited in April 2023, but seeing from the outside is still worth it as part of walking around other landmarks in the area.

The official palace of the King and Queen of Belgium, although the royals don't reside here (it's only used for official functions). The building exterior is very grand; we were only able to view the exterior as interior tours are only given in the summer months.

A me e' piaciuto molto.

Bad luck. It’s only open during August when the Belgian Royal family are on holiday elsewhere. ☹️
