What travelers are saying
- Timothy KChicago, IL303 contributionsThis is a terrific drive with lots of places to stop and take in the views of the ocean, bay and rock formations as well as some wildlife. We saw cormorants, seals, pelicans and even some deer.Written January 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lee MSan Francisco, CA167 contributionsWalk to this beach from the Asilomar Hotel, or drive, but there is not much parking. Next to Spanish Bay resort. Unlike many parts of the coast, this is a sandy beach, with rocks offshore. A happy place!Written March 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Mike GLos Gatos, CA3 contributionsLovers Point on the Pacific Grove Coastline is a rare gem of an experience. From surfing to swimming to kayaking its all there in a pristine environment with plenty of room for a family picnic or lunch/dinner at the Beach House right on the water with great views and reasonable prices. Plenty of parking and miles of walking paths.Written December 15, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Valerie GNorth Port, FL216 contributionsReally enjoyed walking the seaside here, seeing the different plants, sea creatures and squirrels. A sweet little place for couples to take a walk in the afternoon if staying in the area. We loved staying at Lovers Inn right near here. Would definitely come back to this area in the future.Written February 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jaskel08California260 contributionsThis was really interesting. Peak butterfly season is November and December….. weather pending. We were there in mid-February. There were still some butterflies out but not as many as I would like. There was a volunteer docent from the museum who was gracious in answering everyone’s question and pointing out where the butterflies are.
Entrance is free. The park isn’t that large….. and nor is the parking lot. However, parking is available on the street. Public bathrooms are available.
Definitely recommend bringing binoculars. Also, you may want to call in advance to make sure they are out and about.Written February 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nathan NLehi1 contributionThis is a simple plaque honoring one of the best musicians of the 20th century. The beach this monument graces is just beautiful. I wish I could say the same about the plaque. It is very difficult to read and was placed in a section that doesn't really stand out to passers-by. I took several photos and the one attached is edited so it's a bit easier to read the text.Written February 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
