I'm beginning to wonder if the profiles are fake I've sent out loads of messages not one reply I don't consider myself to be a bad looking man of I have no joy I definitely won't be renewing my profile

what a load of crap this is, avoid at all costs, tell you you have a message, can't get on, if you do get on your messages never get to the person, also send likes from a 100 miles away, crock of crap

I had a great time with ourtime dating site. They are very prompt in responding to emails. I met a very nice guy on our time. We are getting on quite well and we are planning to take our relationship to the next level. Thanks to ourtime.

Very badly implemented website and app.
Full of issues.
The most recent one is that they have decided that if you reply to someone who likes you then that's a mutual like - even though you didn't touch the like button.
"I am sorry - I couldn't go out with a smoker" - mutual like! "I think 300 miles is too far away." - mutual like!
Or in my case - a polite person - who always says "Thank you for the like - that's very kind" because just ignoring someone seems heartless, now has many hundreds of mutual likes and have lost my handful of genuine ones (where we both pressed like) is a sea of fake app geenrated mutuals. When I reported the problem this stupid change caused, support just say "Oh well" and pasted stupid "how to use" type articles. and "refused" to let me contact someone who might actually udnerstand
The site is absolutely full of scammers - they are mostly easily to indentify and, to be fair, the moderators take them down quite quickly when you report them but as it is obviously easy for the moderators to see they are fake (I guess connection patterns) why I am dealing with so many every day and not them -a little investment in some AI and human review. They even allow fake profiles to exist using the same photo!
The interface and app is generally clunky with all kinds of poor features (40 years in IT) - all about generating views and revenue I think - not about the customer experience. Support is very poor and slow.

If I could give zero stars I would. Ignores location data, does not allow likes, does not recognise that people have been rejected. You see the same faces time out of number. Whether you have liked them or not. Apparently according to the app I have never "liked" anyone which is ridiculous. I have messaged people who have liked me or viewed. I don’t think one message has been sent
This is appalling, no customer service, no appeal on poor service and traps the user into fixed term contracts that have to be continued. Truly this is exploiting people when they are vulnerable. In reality they should be returning subscriptions for a not fit for use service. APPALLING should be ashamed of yourselves.

Opted for a 3 month subscription. During that time, only one person contacted me for date. None of the ones I liked ever even looked at my profile leading me to think they don't exist. Before the end of my 3 months, I cancelled my renewal, but they extended my membership and continued to charge me. I am in the process of trying to reclaim my payment.

I took some time to consider a dating site after my wife passed away. Knowing her she wouldn't want for me to be on my own. I don't think it is a betrayel of the love we had. Those memories are deep within my heart and are a great motivation for me to face my future. I am also very fortunate of having a close and understanding family who support me as I do them. I am a very optimistic person and can accept lifes challenges, and hopefully find an informed solution to problems that may arise.

Do not waste your money or trust this site .
It belongs to Match.com - at least 70% are fake & scam profiles . My membership ceased yesterday & I deliberately chose NOT to renew the membership. I had previously logged into my account & unchecked the option for Automatic renewal & even went further ! Deleting my payment details.
YET DESPITE ALL THIS - I have a payment on my charge for renewal & even worse it’s at DOUBLE the previous monthly cost ! There is a phone number attached to the charge on my CC statement- however if you call it it is unattainable ( OF COURSE!)
They provide no actual contact method at all - only via their online chat - when you eventually can choose to send a message! Awaiting an eventual response!
Absolutely unfair & dishonest practice!
I have raised a complaint with my Credit card provider . Unethical company full of scammers & fakes - The company itself is only out to take your money !
How can they raise a subsequent charge if they deleted my payment details ? How can they renew at double the amount too a reoccurring subscription- when I deliberately chose NOT to automatically renew! FURIOUS !
Waste of money & time - sorry for the genuine people on there.

The biggest issue for me is that the majority of photos appear to be about 10-20 years old! Not Ourtime's fault I guess but as appearance is important to most people, it makes the product pretty useless.
Another issue is fake accounts but Ourtime do make an effort to police these.
Been on the site just over a week, so still feeling my way a bit. Like one other contributor noted, I think (guys anyway) have to be proactive and not just sit at the keyboard and send likes!

This site costs a lot of money to use!! - don’t give your information. It states emails are free - yes free from the company stating someone likes you but you have to pay £19.99 a month (2024) to see there profile and communicate!! You cannot communicate otherwise. Tried to delete my photo but it states you have to pay to delete it!! Rubbish site.

Cancelled my account as I was not getting anywhere and found repeated inappropriate suggested matches a waste of time. I have not been able to contact the company at all for confirmation that they won't be trying to charge me any further. Depressing!

I have had so many fake profiles, inactive accounts, rude & lude messages. I feel this site is unsafe. I was looking for companionship, what I got was so much upsetting abuse. Please do not waste your money ladies.

I’m not sure why this site has been given low reviews. I was apprehensive, having read the reviews, after signing up.
Yet, within 24 hrs I received a genuine message from ‘J.’ We met up, four days later, and decided we had enough in common to pursue a relationship.
All the messages I received were from genuinely interested men, albeit too far away, so it shows the distance can be a big issue as local potentials are few and far between.
I feel, if one is on the site with serious intentions, then it’s a great site to be on.
Don’t just press like, make an effort and converse as these are real people wanting a connection.
Always reply to messages even it’s a thanks but no thanks.
Be honest if you’re meeting other matches and keep the other hopefuls informed, it’s just good manners!
Yes, it costs money, but I feel the investment was worth it as I found an excellent match!
I’d definitely recommend Our Time to middle aged men and women who are looking for companionship/friendship/relationship.

One of the better dating sites for seniors. I had lots of fun on Ourtime, corresponding with most members was easy and, they replied, even if they were not interested in, most cases. Unlike the reviews I've see on here, I had no problems cancelling my subscription and, the conformation email was sent immediately? Recommend..

I haven't paid for services yet on Ourtime but have realised that so many profiles are older than what they claim. Besides, the level of people visiting my profile rose to 161 just on my first week which I found to be weird. It tells me the level of fraud on the part of the company to make money. Glad I didn't pay any money.

I created a profile and after half a day I lost access - I remember the password, but I cannot log in, and I cannot change the password. Customer service is not working, every time I try to contact them I get an automated message about how to change my password. I never get a reply from them on how to change my password when I not receiving a link from them to do that. So my data are somewhere and I do not have access to it.

For the short time I've been using the site, I've had no issues. Easy to use, lots of profiles. Not yet had opportunity to make full use of benefits.
