At the moment 3000 is maximum allowed attendance at outdoor events. I guess noone (maybe except a liar or God) could tell you when the omicron wave is over, but anyway it's unlikely that they will reduce the number even more, so if you're among the 3000 first I think you will be able to enter. Until December we had no restrictions on sports events, so we will probably go back to normality when this wave is over the top, but if there is still some covid-19-issues in March, the ski events in Holmenkollen could of course be affected. With (some years) more than 100.000 spectators at the cross-country - a little fewer at biathlon - it's probably not the first outdoor event they will open. But I think your chanses will be pretty good.

New covid-rules apply from 11pm tonight:

No longer any restriction on the number of participants at sports events.

So it looks like the biathlon world cup will be open to everyone.

(The recent covid-wave is expected to peak in Norway sometime within the next few weeks, before the month of March)
