despite paying for the admission $5.15, I did not go. my friend went and daughter proceeded. Instead, I went to Himeji Castle. I heard it is very beautiful. in fact, the same Architect designed both castles. I did not regret as I climbed more than 1000 steps to the top of the castle to take a panoramic view of the view. so happy!

it was a great experience. we were lucky that a lot of Cherry blossom trees are still in bloom. entry to the castle was quick. don’t forget to go to the Japanese garden for a great shot of the castle.

buying the tickets from klook really saved us a lot of time, the ticketing queue was really long. do take note that the lift only serves one way up to level 5 and you need to be prepared to climb up to the observatory and make your way down yourself, esp if y’all planning to travel with young kids!

The castle was beautiful! But expect crowds in every floor so hard to take good pics and linger. the view from the top floor was also gorgeous! There was also an anime exhibit at the nearby building.

lovely surrounding. more to see and do than I expected. our pass took us straight through the queue. Castle was nice inside and the grounds. some tasty market food around too! stunning cherry blossom

I’m not a fan of waiting in line for like half an hour just to buy tickets when you could definitely buy them here. The Osaka castle and the area around are beautiful, you don’t want to spend your time waiting in line unless you want to collect a physical ticket.

A must-visit in Osaka! The castle is full of so much history, and going through the different floors where various artefacts and explanations of the past was amazing. The 360 view of Osaka from the topmost floor was also excellent. Moreover, getting tickets through Klook was highly convenient as we didn’t need to join the long line of people buying tickets onsite. Recommended.
