UPDATE (10:35 p.m.): Fire crews have contained a structure fire that broke out in Orcutt Monday night.
The fire was first reported at 8:42 p.m. at the 3200 block of Orcutt Rd.
Fire officials say that fire sprinklers kept the fire in check until crews arrived. The sprinklers caused extensive water damage to the structure.
Fire officials tells KSBY that the 3 units were affected by the fire and 8 people are displaced.
Those displaced were helped by the Red Cross.
Two cats that were reported missing have been found safe.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
