The Bright Bittersweet Mustang color was offered in 1980-1981 and 1983 Mustangs. While being an orange color, it features some red undertones to create a dark orange shade. In 1983 this was the rarest color of that year, with only ten being produced in total.

Offered as a $17,000 option from Saleen (2007 Window Sticker), Beryllium was, as some say, the must-have color for the Saleen. Introduced in 2002, Beryllium Orange stormed the scene on the New Edge Saleen, making it one of the most popular colors for the Saleen. It was discontinued in 2008.

One of the most famous colors on a Mustang, competition orange, makes a return after its re-debut in 2015. Originally a Boss 302 color, competition orange saw a return in 2003-2004 and again in 2015-2016. The bright orange is a must for any Mustang owner looking to make a statement with their car. It was most famous for the Boss, Mach, and Cobra models.

Grabber Orange | 2007-09 Mustangs

An ode to the classic Grabber Orange Mustangs, Ford brought back the iconic bright orange paint scheme to the 2007-2009 Mustangs. While it wasn't as bright as Competition Orange, the Grabber Orange S197 sure made a statement. For those who loved the old school Boss 302 in orange, this was the color to have!

Orange Fury | 2018-19 Mustang

Making its debut on the 2019 Mustang, orange fury metallic is an exciting new paint for the new body style. Ford waved goodbye to competition orange and added a lighter shade of orange for 2019. Sharing some similarities with the earlier grabber orange, we see this color being a popular choice among the crowd.

Twister Orange | 2020-21 Mustang

To shake things up for the 2020 Mustang, Ford has introduced a new Mustang orange paint named Twister Orange. Twister Orange is another GT500 color that is rumored to carry over to standard Mustangs. From what we can tell, it seems to be a bit deeper than Competition Orange, which contrasts perfectly with all of the black accent pieces on the S550.

Cyber Orange | 2022 Mustang (2021 Mach-E)

Cyber Orange Metallic was first released in 2021 for the Mustang Mach-E GT. This color is a lighter orange shade compared to previous orange mustang colors. It has also been released that the Cyber Orange color will be included in the 2022 Mustang color lineup as well!

Code Orange | 2022 GT500

As a new color for the 2022 GT500, Code Orange is already ramping up to be the hottest color for the 2022 lineup. The bright orange paint against all of the black and carbon fiber accents makes for the perfect color combination.
