Booking Easyjet through Opodo (charges?)

This is the 1st time of booking a low-cost company, just because of all the panick about hiden charges. I have checked different websites and it seems that the best price Gatwick-Santiago de Compostela (Spain) seems to be Easyjet's one. As I always try to avoid these kind of companies, I have checked through Opodo.
Now my question to people using Easyjet (through different comparison sites) is, would the charges related to luggage etc, be included in the price or would I still have to pay for it apart? I wouldn't want to go through the process and then asking to pay for an extra luggage (of 20kg) when one is already included in the price or the opposite.
Also regarding hand luggage, is it not the norm that hand luggage is free of charge? I was reading the article in MSE and it says they charge for "hand luggage" £9 (???) would that include your normal lady's bag, laptop or just a bigger bag?, I am confused as I have never paid for a hand bag whatever size and I have travelled sometimes with the 3 of them lady's bag, laptop and small piece of luggage without any problem.
I would really appreciate any advice, flights to my area (Vigo) are really expensive this year, even to Santiago de Compostela, so I don't have too much choice and I have to take what is there, I just wouldn't want to spoil it in any part of the process because of forgetting anything.
Any extra tips also really appreciated. Thanks so much to everyone in advance.

Book direct with easyJet. Booking an easyJet flight via anyone else won't be cheaper. If you want hold luggage it will cost extra. You are only allowed one piece of hand luggage. Handbag, laptop etc. all have to go in the one piece of hand luggage.0

Also consider flying to Oporto and then go from there.
If you booked through Opodo you'd get their terms and conditions as well as easyJet's.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
The £9 is their fixed booking fee.
Why do people over complicate things?0 -
Why on earth would you go out of your way by booking through a third party to avoid booking direct with Easyjet, who don't have any hidden charges anyway.
They don't charge for a 'handbag', they don't charge for hand luggage, they only charge for checked luggage, which you'll still have choose and pay for if you book through opodo. Opodo charge more for the flights and more for the luggage than Easyjet, and that has to be added in addition to the flight, no different to booking direct through Easyjet.
You're going to end up having to play by easyjet rules with the added complication of having to rely on Opodo giving you the correct information

Thanks to everyone for replying. Yes, I guess that once you book for the 1st time you will know that is not a "paranormal" experience. I have always panicked about so many posts & complaints that you hear about hidden charges and people that get a shock when they get to the airport because they forgot to include something or they didn't know and are charged unbelievable prices.
Well, going then for Easyjet directly now. By the way, regarding "boarding pass" I read you have to take it to the airport printed. Do they send the boarding passes to the email?? I have always printed out the email confirmation of the payment (from opodo for other companies) and once in the airport they give you the boarding pass as this one includes the gate number of the departure and number of seat. Do you print email confirmation, do they send the boarding pass to your email or do you print it out from their website?0 -
Thank you for the suggestion Richardw, I already checked Oporto even before I checked Santiago, prices are not better and it is a bit far away.0

When you checked in online on the Easyjet website it will take you through to print your boarding pass.
If you have hand luggage only that's all you need, just go straight through security at the airport with your boarding pass and passport. If you have checked luggage you'll need to queue at the bag drop zone with your boarding pass.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
