Video stopped before the 1st hand had ended.
Just imagine 29 more minutes of that shit…. I’ll see if I can upload the full version from my pc later
did the new link work?
It's still only 1:00 long.
I made a separate comment in this post with a YouTube link and another long comment talking about random situations I came across.

Not sure how to add sound to these…. any ideas? Seems kinda pointless if I can’t talk through what I see and why I’m making the plays I do.
Enjoy the Ls
Or not I guess. I tried
How did the game end up?
The first hand is a good summary of the next half hour. Video is like 30 mins long. I made at least one potential punt but I’m not sure. Opponents made some as well. I need to figure out sound though.
You can upload to YouTube and share the link
Put the full video on Youtube and then link it here
If you long press the screen record button, there is an option to turn the microphone on. I haven’t done it, but I’d check that out first.
Yea I’ll try that next time. Still need to figure out how to upload a full video.
If you hold down the screen grab button when you're enabling it, you can turn on your mic. Not helpful to this recording, but if you feel like narrating your games, that's how.
Kind of a pain in the ass... Let's see if this works.

This works, also looks like iphones have a way to include the mic with a screen recording if you want to commentate. I don't have one so I can't test it but if you Google it seems pretty easy to include
Some things to note from Game 1:
Just your classic 3D game of 3 players who have been in the top 40 and a 2100 with me as their partner.
Passing Left 9 from seat 2 may be wrong but these hands suck and are impossible to play and I feel much better about myself from passing. Giving my partner the 9 doesn't make me feel much better either.
Down 3-6 you need to score to win. 2100 partner will call next in these spots from 3rd (2 trump one ace) with this score. Dealer had a pretty good hand in green.
There was a hand when I could have picked up A9. Notice the pause from seat 2. That is as obvious as it gets: Protected Left or naked Right. He was playing fast all game except with that spot. I don't think that hand is good enough though.
Erickson should have went alone even at 7.
I've been playing with/against Captain Kidd for about 7 years. I've played a ton of games with and against him and I've even intentionally thrown against him because he's a loser. That said, my experience with Capt Kidd is that he doesn't auto donate on 9-6 so I went for it with a bad loner hand. If I knew seat 1 was a donator I would have ordered, trumped the ace and then led my offsuit queen. Leading trump is terrible there because you know the Right is in seat 1. For loners I count how many losers I have (top 3 trump, offsuit aces and/or kings). So my hand was 9TQL Qc. Right bower, Ace of trump, Ace of clubs, and King of clubs are all losers. If I count 3 losers I don't go alone. If I count 2 or less I do. Despite all that I think the score of 6-9 dictated a more aggressive approach if I know seat 1 is not a donator. Was second guessing my loner decision a lot at the time.
Game 2:
Sometimes I will call next with Ts and the King of clubs being the highest card (ace turned down). Capt Kidd is too conservative though so I don't like it in this spot. The score is also 1-1 so I don't need to take a risk. Don't lead the king of clubs when the ace of clubs is turned down.
Next hand it goes around twice and I'm able to go alone in clubs. This doesn't happen in aggressive games. I don't know much about Go Habs but I'm starting to peg him on the more conservative side as well as my partner. Marginal hands go way down in value. When you see someone not throw trump on a loner and then follow suit with a low trump they have the left.
Player to my right kept calling next and they never turned trump down. Not much you can do.
Game 3:
3 offsuit spades despite having AK is just too much for me. Score or extra information from my partner telling me they have the right will change this from an order to a loner. If the left were the right it's a loner all the time.
It feels like every deal my opponents have there is a Jack. Dropped a nice F bomb in the gym at the time.
On Kidd's 1st seat call I could have taken with the ace and led the ten but the queen was still out. I've gotten punished in the past for playing the ace when my partner throws a boss king offsuit.
The 9 of clubs lead was an experimental play. I wanted to see how it worked. Having Left ace of trump makes it highly incentivized to double lead trump once you get it but you don't have a good offsuit to follow. Still undecided if I like it better.
No regrets with picking up Right Ten. You just gotta pick these hands up. After a lot of testing I feel leading offsuit is better then trump. Over trumping with the right may have been wrong but I doubt it.
Leading the ten of diamonds was a play I considered after trumping the ace of clubs. I'd have to think a lot harder about this hand to figure out if it's good. Auto pilot play of leading the heart.
Queen of hearts became the boss offsuit so leading trump is a priority.
Last hand I feel much better about my loner decision in game 1 as Pansy Kidd passes on a 5-9 score. Then the unprotected left trump lead, lol.
I feel very confident there is a near 100% correlation between people who auto order when the opponents are on 9 points and donating with 9-6 or 9-7 scores. Just knowing I was live to win that game made me feel much better about my decision.
Those two opponents in first hand are decent. Capt Kidd especially. Upload with mic is a knew twist. Not sure I can isolate myself for that long and get a game in.
I think Capt kidd sucks lol. Dude drives me nuts with how conservative he is.

I lose to him almost every game,
He’s been in a few of my games last few days. I screwed one of them up (standard).
Good player
This is the first time I've ever watched a euchre game, and since I did, I wanted to give some thoughts. A few things up front: (1) it's easier for me to assess things while watching someone else play versus being in the seat; (2) there were a few hands where I thought I may have done something different (e.g., passing on left ten from seat 2 in the first game) but I don't judge them either way, and if I'm playing I might alternate between pass or call; (3) I had no issues with anything in game 1 or 2, so my comments are from game 3.
You lead 4-0 and ordered with right ten of hearts and three clubs: After the first two hands, you know third seat only has diamonds/hearts remaining. On second trick, third seat threw off king of diamonds. First seat leads a second spade rather than a diamond. So on third trick, I would probably throw off a club instead of overtrumping with the right. Third seat will either have two hearts (you're euchred regardless) or lead a diamond, and you hope it's low, allowing you to play off and let your partner take it.
Next hand, you lead 4-2: I think leading the ten of diamonds on third trick is a gut call feeling, easier if you know your opponents' play style and call history. With dealer not leading trump on second seat, to me, that means they either only have the right remaining or they have two other trump (e.g., king ace). If they had right queen x, they would have gone alone. I lead the ten of diamonds more than the ten of hearts (I don't know the percentage split) because I like to put pressure on my opponents.
Opponents lead 5-4, you have four hearts and one diamond, and the up card is queen of clubs: Did you think about donating here? These are the donate decisions I struggle with the most, so I'm interested if you considered it.
Last hand: I don't understand the pass from your partner. You're down 9-5, and he has right king with two off suit aces, three suited. If he doesn’t order up the diamond, he has to call next.
Didn’t think about donating. If they discarded the king of diamonds then they would only have the ace. I didn’t pay attention to the discard at the time. If it had been a lower discard your reasoning makes sense.
He also had right ace in green which was better then passing. Then he led a naked left. He more or less packed it in.
On the hand you led 4-0, third seat played the nine of diamonds on the first trick (spade lead) and then the king of diamonds on the second trick (clubs lead). The ten, queen, and ace were still out. I think the only chance you have of making the point is if third seat takes third trick and has the queen of diamonds and a heart left, making playing off the best option. Every other option (third seat having king/queen hearts, ace of diamonds and one heart, or the two remaining hearts split between first and third seat) get you euchred.
And good point on your partner packing it in on the last hand, but it was still a really odd double pass. I try to explain to people how one or two small plays in a game can be the deciding factor, and that's the perfect example.
