Will Alex really take the fall for Randal’s murder?

Not that I have much faith in the efficiency of the Maxine Police Department, but are the cops really just going to charge Alex with Randal’s murder without a thorough investigation? No additional questions asked? All they know is that she woke up in a blue dress with no memory of what happened earlier that night. Don’t they need… what’s the word… proof?!

Will Brad and Marcie leave town?

The beauty of pinning Randal’s murder on Alex, Brad explains, is that it will allow him and Marcie to “ride off into the sunset” together, finally achieving the happy ending they’ve always wanted. But does their plan work out? We’ll never know, but considering the last shot of the happy couple involves him calming her down from a panic attack, I don’t have high hopes for their future.

Did Ian Survive His Tasing?

Tasing a guy is one thing. Tasing someone with a heart condition and a pacemaker is another. But what Eddie did — duct taping a taser to Ian’s body to ensure a continuous flow of electricity — is a whole other level of messed up. There’s no way he survived that, right?

What actually happened to Mika?

After Larry revealed that Mika was in a dumpster and didn’t know if she could breathe, Eddie located said dumpster (off screen), then arrived at Esperanza’s to deliver some incredibly vague news. All he said was “I just saw her,” and while it’s fair to assume from his tears that Mika is dead, we’re never actually told what happened to her. Couldn’t Esperanza have waited, like, two more minutes to shoot him? And speaking of which…

Will Esperanza get away with murder?

Not many characters on this show would defend Eddie, but three of them — including a police officer and an FBI agent — watched her murder him in cold blood. How is this possibly going to end well for her?

And is Eddie even dead?

Perhaps Esperanza’s charge could be lessened to attempted murder, assuming Eddie survives those gunshots to the chest. Like most of the other presumed-dead characters in this finale, things aren’t looking great for Eddie, but a little confirmation would be appreciated here.

Did the police ever let Bennett out of custody?

Marcie may have murdered Randal, but it was Bennett who was shoved into the back of a squad car atop the series finale. Rick was right to apprehend him, especially since he literally walked in on Bennett holding the murder weapon, but we can’t help wondering how things turned out for him. Was he released when Alex was booked?

What became of Tanya?

While being hauled off, Bennett told his arresting officer, “I need to get back to my wife!” You know, the woman who was hospitalized because Randal slipped her unprescribed medication. Are we just… never going to see her again? Is she trapped in that hospital for all eternity now?

Is Kelly headed for a love triangle?

A series finale feels like a strange time to introduce a love triangle, but at least the men in Kelly’s life provided some much-needed comic relief. From Rick casually asking about “the buff guy standing right there” to Terrell failing (miserably) to conceal his jealousy, we appreciated their brazen efforts to flirt with Kelly mere minutes after Randal’s death.

Most importantly, did Larry’s wife ever get that hashtag trending?

Everyone in Larry’s inner circle had an extreme reaction to his tragic hospitalization, but we’re not sure his wife’s suggestions were entirely helpful. “We’re going to create a movement in this town,” she said. “I want to drain the swamp. Create a hashtag, get this going.”

Ian gave her an unconvincing “I will,” but that was a few minutes before he got tased in the hospital parking lot — and I’m pretty sure we didn’t see him tweet first.
