The Desperate Kingdom of Love
At the hospital bed where Dan lies after a heart attack, Deb contemplates her role in the tragedy. On his way to attempt reconciliation, Dan had found Deb making love to Keith. Meanwhile, Haley and Nathan have gotten married in a ceremony attended only by her parents. Peyton and Brooke begin to recapture their friendship with a day on Brooke's family boat and vow to avoid letting guys come between them again. Whitey learns that he has a brain tumor. With the assistance of Peyton and Brooke, Lucas gives Nathan and Haley a wedding reception. Although Haley's parents, Jim and Lydia, support their daughter's marriage, Deb doesn't. Meanwhile, Dan's recent heart attack causes him to try mending his relationships with Deb and Lucas.

Felix organizes a "dare night" to test the limits of his new classmates. While out playing the game, Lucas meets a mysterious girl, Anna. Peyton tearfully confesses to a priest that she recently tried cocaine, and Keith is surprised when a beautiful woman, Jules, comes to the dealership and flirts with him while shopping for a car. Meanwhile, Karen goes on a date with Andy Hargrove, her young professor.
We Might As Well Be Strangers
After dare night resulted in new relationships, Lucas shares a romantic evening with Anna during a midnight meteor shower. Andy surprises Karen with dinner, and Keith cooks for Jules on their first date. Brooke forms a mutually beneficial relationship with Felix, and Peyton searches for an opening act for her club.
Let the Reigns Go Loose
The opening of Karen's club, Tric, brings the people of Tree Hill together. Lucas and Felix engage in an altercation over Anna. After the scheduled performer quits on the night of the club opening, Haley must overcome her fear of performing in order to save the night for Peyton. Although Mouth tends to Brooke while she is drunk, Felix sneaks in and attempts to take credit. Keith and Jules realize their relationship has reached a new level. About this series
In a small North Carolina town, two estranged half brothers carry on very different lives.
