I believe the song is a double edged sword. It talks about those who destroy and make bad for others to raise gain for their self. But also questions the self as a sinner and knows that God knows all secrets of sin and there is no hiding anything from the lord. It gets into prophecy concerning Armageddon and the return of Jesus Christ. And to make good before his arrival. This song is not just a pop song about love. The song cuts through to those who want to see its message. People get ready, if your are lost, ask the father of all creation for wisdom. And he will give it to you. God will change your heart or in other words, to repent of earthly ways and see things from the perspective of Gods kingdom. Like Bob did.

Bob marley’s idea was that everyone in the world should stop fighting and become one. The part wear it says, “ hear the children cryin’ (one love!) ; Hear the children cryin’ (one heart!), he is basically talking about the fighting going on and how the kids are innocent and they should not have to suffer through this. Bob is also trying to say that we have one life, and it is very short, so don't waste it worrying about the things of the world. Focus on the things that really matter like love, family, etc.

I really appreciate his deep meaning on his each lyrics because the kingdom of God is at hand so when we still have time left in this world we must repent and accept Jesus as our savior, our path, and our light young people of God don't be ashamed to repent and love the Almighty God because he is the only salvation that we all need in atempting Satan's temptation.Only God knows how you feel and what you've hide that's why you're still reading it untill the last part i wrote... let's all repent untill we still have the chance to repent before it's too late

The simple message is "To save the world and yourself", you must give yourself over to "JESUS".
The "hopeless sinner" can be saved, no matter what they have done. The world is in the mess we're in,because man has replaced GOD with himself in the centre of the world.

The "ONE LOVE" is simply GOD's LOVE for all mankind.

Unity, self conciousness, love and respect of all, fear and respect of god and his creation. One cannot hide his wrong doings from the Lorld. A unitary world, is a happy world. One Love.

Pretty sure the song is about legalizing and smoking the ganja. "Let them all pass all their dirty remarks", the people all look down on people who smoke, especially the Rastafarians. "Is there a place for the hopeless sinner who has hurt all mankind just to save his own belief?", he is sarcastically saying that smoking weed hurts everyone when it really doesn't at all. "I'm pleading to mankind" he wants to end the ridiculous prohibition. "Feel alright" duh, come on.
    One love, y'all.

One Love is written while smoking weed. When he says "Let's get together and feel alright" he is saying that everyone should come together and smoke some weed and get high. Hints "feeling alright"
