Andrea Evans (Tina) passed away 7/9...

Soap vet Nicolas Coster (ex-Anthony) passed away 6/27 at age 89. He was also in soaps Young Dr. Malone, Our Private World, Somerset, Dallas, Another World, One Life to Live, Santa Barbara, As the World Turns and The Bay as well as many movies and TV shows. His role as Lionel in Santa Barbara is what he was most known for. He was still working until the end, recently guest-starring on "The Rookie" on ABC.

Former OLTL head writer Michael Malone passed away. He penned some of the best stories, including Marty's rape and Billy's coming out. He created some of the most amazing characters, such as Patrick, Marty, Todd, Nora, RJ, Carlo, Luna, Alex, Andrew, David and more.

Robyn Griggs (ex-Stephanie) has been battling cancer. She's entering hospice now. It was posted today on her FB page. 

 Kristen Alderson, Melissa Archer, Kathy Brier, Kassie DePaiva, BethAnn Fuenmayor, David Gregory, Ren�e Elise Goldsberry, Catherine Hickland, Mark Lawson, Hillary B. Smith, Jason Tam, Brittany Underwood and Bree Williamson and many other soap stars appeared in �ABC Daytime: Back on Broadway� which was streamed Thursday, Feb. 11. You can see it now on  YouTube

According to Soap Opera Digest, June 13 issue: Marnie Schulenburg (ex-Jo) passed away from breast cancer at age 37.

Lisa Banes (ex-Eve McBain) appears in 2 episodes of "The Orville" this season on HULU as diplomat Speria Balask.  Unfortunately, the actress died last June when she was hit by a scooter in NYC while crossing the street.

From the March 28 issue of Soap Opera Digest: Julia Montgomery (ex-Sam) plays a real estate agent for one day on Y&R. She left over 40 years ago to raise her family, but she shared that Phil Carey (Asa) relied completely on the teleprompter (all the others memorized their lines), which she found very boring. She said she would have signed on for more work if they hadn't paired her with him. She also shared that insight with Dustin Hoffman when she was in the movie "Tootsie," so the doctor in the movie relies on the teleprompter, and that's based on her experience with Phil Carey.

According to Soap Opera Digest's 2/14 issue, Kristen Alderson (ex-Starr), Eddie Alderson (ex-Matthew), David Fumero (ex-Cristian), Billy Warlock (ex-Ross), and others appear in a series of short form YouTube videos that are supposed to be behind-the-scenes of a fictional soap called "THIS SHOW SUCKS: Truth + Consequences." Jim Warren, who is most known for photographing soap stars, is the brain behind the series. You can find the videos here.

According to Soap Opera Digest's 11/1 issue, Terrell Tilford (ex-Greg) and his wife, soap star Victoria Platt, are divorcing after 20 years of marriage.

Jonathan Groff  (ex-Henry) is nominated for an Emmy for Supporting Actor, Limited Series or Movie for his role in �Hamilton.� Ren�e Elise Goldsberry is also nominated for an Emmy for Supporting Actress, Limited Series or a Movie for her role in �Hamilton.� The Emmys will air Sunday, September 19, 2021 on CBS.  

Wendy Williams (ex-Phyllis)' show "The Wendy Williams Show" is nominated for a Daytime Emmy this year for Outstanding Makeup.

David Fumero (ex-Cristian) and Nathan Purdee (ex-Hank) talk about what they've each been up to in the October 26th issue of SOD.

Veteran actor Kevin Dobson passed away 9/6.

David A. Gregory (Ford) was married May 16 to his girlfriend, Jennifer Noble. Most of the guests were on Zoom.

The cast recently reunionted twice on YouTube. Reunion #1 and Reunion #2...

ABC will air a special, "Story of the Soaps," May 19.

Mark  Blum on Desperately Seeking SusanActor Mark Blum died from the coronavirus. He was 69. He was best known forJanet Zarish "Desperately Seeking Susan" (see photo). He was married to Janet Zarish, who played Janet on "One Life to Live" in 2009. She was Marty's nurse (I believe that was when Todd/Victor held her Blum and Zarishcaptive and she didn't remember who she was). They both did a lot of work on the stage as well as TV and movies. Very sad. That's far too young. :(

Roscoe Born (ex-Mitch) passed away at the age of 69.

From Soap Opera Digest 2/24/20 issue: Soap veteran Marj Dusay passed away January 28, as previously reported. Various actors who worked with her a lot talk about her, including Robin Strasser (Dorian).

Set in Llanview, Pennsylvania, "One Life to Live" premiered on July 15, 1968 on ABC and last aired on January 13, 2012 after 43-1/2 years. OLTL aired 40 new episodes at Hulu.com from Monday, April 29, 2013, until Monday, August 19, 2013.

According to the 12/16/19 issue of Soap Opera Digest, David Gregory (ex-Ford) and his girlfriend Jennifer got engaged.

In the Soap Opera Digest issue for August 26, it was reported that Former production designer/art director (and Emmy winner) Sy Tomashoff passed away at the age of 96. He also worked on "Dark Shadows" and many other soaps.  Also, Roger Howarth (Todd) is featured in an article.

In the Soap Opera Digest issue August 19, a "Where Are They Now?" article includes Fiona Hutchison (ex-Gabrielle).

In the July 8 issue of Soap Opera Digest, Linda Dano (ex-Rae) is featured in a short interview.

Tuc Watkins (David) was in the Broadway play "The Boys in the Band." It won a Tony last night for "Best Revival of a Play"! More Info Two great articles about it. EW Variety  Also, they're filming the play for Netflix!

The mother of the late Nathaniel Marston (ex-Al/Michael), Elizabeth, recently posted on Facebook that she was thinking about suicide. Fans were very worried, and some called the police (which is also what Facebook suggests doing if you think someone is in danger). Apparently she was then upset about the police contacting her, and a friend of hers on Facebook, Lisa, asked everyone to stop calling the police. Lisa assures us that she's fine.

Christine Ebersole (ex-Maxie) is nominated for a Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a Musical for "War Paint." The Tony Awards air June 11 on CBS.

Gina Tognoni (ex-Kelly) won a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series (for her work on Y&R).
Scott Clifton (ex-Schuyler) won a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series (for his work on
B&B).
Heather Tom (another ex-Kelly) is nominated for a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series (for her work on B&B).
Michael Lowry (ex-Ross) was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Digital Daytime Drama Series for his role in "Tainted Dreams."

Kassie DePaiva (ex-Eve, Days; ex-Blair, OLTL), who was diagnosed in 2016 with acute myeloid leukemia, announced on February 4, 2017, that she is now cancer free!

In 2016, With the dismissal of a 2013 lawsuit by Prospect Park on December 1, 2016, ABC regained the rights to "All My Children" & "One Life to Live."

Eddie Alderson (ex-Matthew, OLTL), brother of Kristen Alderson (ex-Starr, OLTL & GH; ex-Kiki, GH), was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, a very treatable form of cancer. He began chemotherapy on Monday, November 14, 2016 and is now cancer-free.

Claire Labine died on November 10, 2016 at 82. She created Ryan's Hope as well as many beautiful stories for GH, OLTL, & GL.

Agnes Nixon, creator of AMC & OLTL, died on September 27, 2016 at 93 in Rosemont, PA of Parkinson's Disease. She also wrote for "Another World," "Guiding Light," & "Search for Tomorrow."

Tika Sumpter (ex-Layla), 36, is expecting her first child, a girl, in Fall, 2016 with actor Nicholas "Nick" James Muscarella who plays Officer Justin in OWN's "Have And Have Nots" while Tika plays Candace Young.

Jensen Ackles (ex-Eric, Days) and his wife, actress Danneel Harris Ackles (ex-Shannon, OLTL) are expecting twins, a boy and a girl, who will join big sis, JJ.

Corbin Bleu (ex-Jeffrey) married Sasha Clements on July 23, 2016, in Santa Barbara, CA.

The 68th Primetime Emmy Award nominations were announced on Thursday, July 14, 2016. Judith Light (ex-Karen, OLTL) was nominated as Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as Shelly Pfefferman in the Amazon Prime series "Transparent." To see the full list, click here. The award show will be held live on Sunday, September 18 at 7 pm ET /4 pm PT on ABC.

Tom Degnan (ex-Joey, OLTL; ex-Adam, ATWT) married actress Erin Cummings (ex-Ann, B&B) on Saturday, July 2, 2016, at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart at the University of Notre Dame.

Jensen Buchanan (ex-Elise, Y&R; ex-Marley/Vicky, AW & ATWT; ex-Sarah, OLTL; ex-Melissa, GH & PC) was arrested for driving under the influence on the morning of May 18, 2016, when her black 2016 Mercedes drifted across a double yellow line and slammed into a 2014 Ford C-Max at 6:20 a.m. in Buellton, near Santa Barbara. While her injuries were considered minor, the other driver was treated for "major injuries" at Cottage Hospital.

Renee Elise Goldsberry (ex-Evangeline, OLTL) won a 2016 Tony as Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her role in the Broadway smash hit "Hamilton" on June 12, 2016.

Jonathan Groff (ex-Henry, OLTL), who was nominated for a 2016 Tony as the king in "Hamilton," left the role on April 9 to begin filming the lead role in David Fincher's new Netflix series Mindhunter.

"Ladies of the Lake," the new digital series based on the novel by Days' Executive Producer Ken Corday, has announced its cast. Kyle Lowder (ex-Brady, Days; ex-Rick, B&B), Arianne Zucker (Nicole, Days), John-Paul Lavoisier (Philip, Days; ex-Rex, OLTL), Martha Madison (Belle, Days; ex-Elizabeth, GH; ex-Lola, Passions), Wally Kurth (Justin, Days; Ned, GH), Marie Wilson (Summer, Days; ex-Meg, ATWT; ex-Karen, PC & GH), Gordon Thomson (ex-Walter, Days; ex-Freeman, Passions; ex-AJ, Sunset Beach; ex-Adam, Dynasty), John Callahan (ex-Edmund, AMC; ex-Dr. Baker, Days; ex-Leo, GH), Patrika Darbo (ex-Nancy, Days), Lilly Melgar (ex-Lily, GH; ex-Claudia, B&B), Jessica Morris (ex-Jennifer, OLTL) & Jillian Clare (ex-Abby, Days) will appear in the new soap from Michael Caruso.

Sean Ringgold (ex-Shaun) and Nicole Johnson welcomed a daughter, Skylar Elaine Ringgold, on April 1, 2016. Ms. Johnson has a 10-year-old son named Parker.

David & Melissa Fumero (ex-Cristian & Adriana) welcomed a son, Enzo, on March 24, 2016. They've been married since December 2007.

Peter Brown (ex-Dr. Greg Peters, Days; ex-Blake Hayes, B&B; ex-Robert Laurence, Y&R; ex-Roger Forbes, Loving; ex-Charles Sanders III, OLTL) passed away at 80 on March 21, 2016 in Phoenix, Arizona. He is survived by his wife Kerstin and two sons, Matthew & Joshua.

Christian Slater, who had small parts in "Edge of Night," "One Life to Live" and "All My Children" when he was little, and played D.J. on "Ryan's Hope," won a Golden Globe Award tonight for Best performance by an actor in a supporting role in a series, for his role in "Mr. Robot" on USA Network.

Patricia Elliott, who played Asa's frequent wife, Renee Divine, on OLTL on and off from 1987-2011, has passed away at the age of 77 after a battle with cancer.

Judith Light (ex-Karen) received her first Golden Globe nomination as Best Supporting actress in a TV series for her portrayal of Shelly Pfefferman in Amazon Prime's "Transparent." She already has 2 Daytime Emmys and 2 Tony's. The award show will air live on Sunday, January 10, 2016, from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, CA, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.

Erin Torpey (ex-Jessica) gave birth to her second child, Asher Davies von Watts, on Saturday, December 5, 2015. She and husband, actor Hamilton von Watts, have a 5-year-old son, Izaiah.

Nathaniel Marston (ex-Al/Michael) was paralyzed in a crash Friday, October 30, 2015, after falling asleep at the wheel of his pick-up truck in Reno, Nevada. He was ejected through the windshield and crushed several vertebrae in his neck and back. Sadly, he passed away on November 11. His mother, Elizabeth Jackson, wrote on her Facebook page: "Had Nathaniel lived he would have required a ventilator and would never have been able to utter one more word and would have been sentenced to life as a quadriplegic -- a condition that Nate would have never have been able to tolerate."

Jenni "JWoww" Farley, who played Nikki on TOLN's OLTL reboot, and her husband Roger Mathews had a baby girl, Meilani Alexandra Mathews, on July 13, 2014. They married on October 18, 2015, and are expecting their second child in May, 2016.

Casper Van Dien (ex-Ty, OLTL) filed for divorce from Catherine Oxenberg. They have two daughters, Maya & Celeste.

BethAnn Bonner (ex-Talia, OLTL) and her wife Maria Fuenmayor welcomed twins, Ruby Colette & Simon Lucas on September 22, 2015. See the gorgeous babies here!
