Goofs

Every time you hear a train whistle through the movie, it sounds like it's from a steam engine. Steam locomotives where completely retired on class 1 railroads by 1959 thus making it impossible to hear a steam whistle blowing in 2003. See more »

True and sad and well done.
23 February 2004 | by BlueJulia21877See all my reviews

It was very well done, all around. Keaton gives a stirring performance. And yes, a risky performance that ultimately pays off. It was very well directed. I would highly recommend this film to anyone interested in the serious subject of drug addiction. There's alot of lessons here to be had. As well as a lot of truth.
