It was my first time staying at this hotel. WOW let me just tell you this hotel really cares about their customers and treat everyone with A+ service. I went there for my anniversary i did make a special request to be on the highest floor possible and they did accommodate my request which i was super happy about. The check in took less than 4 minutes and everyone was so friendly & welcoming. What i loved is that they text you to check in on you, this is really convenient . I hope upper management sees this and keep up their great work. Thank you guys for making my stay enjoyable you guys rock!!!

Great place to stay if you're visiting San Diego. In the heart of downtown, you get the whole San Diego experience. The service from the employees is top notch and they accommodate to the fullest. This is the best play to stay if you are in town for a baseball game. They have a bridge that connects to the stadium and acts as an entrance to the ballpark for hotel guests.
A couple other things that are awesome about the place are the pool over looking the bay and the large sized gym with many different workout equipment with plenty of spacing. - Kassandra A.Brawley, CA0146Oct 17, 2021
This is such a beautiful hotel. I love how everything is walking distance and had the best view when staying here. This hotel is has breathe taking views. I enjoyed the lounge area and spa service. I will definitely be back again. I had a great experience here. I will definitely be back again.

Great hotel and family friendly. The check in process was smooth and fast. The room was a bit out dated needs some work. In the shower the soap shampoo holder fell off while my kids were showering. I appreciated that I reported and they came to fix it right away. The floors in the bathroom look broken and scratched up. The best part of the room was the view into the ballpark we went to watch a baseball game and you get access directly from the 4th floor. We were able to go right in alittle after 5:30 straight into the ball park. One downfall right now and not sure if it's because of covid but they do not offer room service. The beds are super comfy over all an okay hotel and stay. I guess I expected a bit more comfort and a nicer or newer room for the price I paid. But my kids had a great experience seeing the ballers warm up with an amazing view of all downtown and petco park. I didn't get to try food at the hotel so I'm not sure what they offer. The bar seemed pretty busy and with kids I would have liked to see more food options. Over all I think I would go back when we go to another baseball game it's very convenient.

Do yourself a favor and stay at the hard rock hotel next door. One of the worst hotels I've stayed at in San Diego. Grand Manchester or Hardrock Hotel is the way to go.

We stayed here recently for a medical conference The rooms are nice sized and the bed very comfortable, but if you have a room facing the train, good luck sleeping. They run all night and love to honk as they pass by.
Very close to several great restaurants, but surprisingly not at the hotel itself.
The pool area is really inviting. My biggest concern is the lack of masks worn by check in staff. Here we were medical professionals that had the uncomfortable feeling of being exposed. San Diego has a more lax mask mandate than LA, but the valets all wore masks, the front desk should also. - Frank D. H.Vista, CA0253Sep 26, 2021
Great location for baseball games. It has a convenient Skywalk to Petco. Rooms are nice, beds are excellent. However, bathrooms are European. Barn doors and not much privacy. No food on premises. Gaslamp is so close. Candidly, we stay here a bunch.

Beautiful hotel, super nice views over the city! The room was nice, with a comfortable bed and good water pressure in the shower. Proper social distancing procedures are in place during covid; the bar was closed (second week of February) and for the gym there was a reservation system. Staff was friendly and helpful

Booked this hotel for work, it always pays to be nice to the people at the front desk. Wonderful amenities, pool, spa, workout room, and stunning views of the bay. Sarah at the front desk was incredibly helpful, friendly, and really made me feel welcome. Chris took my bags to my room and even got me ice for my stay. I wandered down to the pool to recoup after my long flight, and Dane suggested delicious street tacos, and a hot mango margarita! Ay yay yay! I could get used to this...
Update, shout out to the fantastic concierge Robert! He knows EVERYTHING about San Diego!
Had a little mishap with my bill, Paul Mgr and Lindsay AsstMgr in finance were ON it. There are always going to be problems, they were on it and stayed consistent until it was fixed! BRAVO
