If a celebrity makes any change to their appearance, no matter how minor, you can bet the Internet will be all over it. So when Olivia Munn showed up at the Runway to Red Carpet event hosted by Variety, WWD, and the CFDA at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles on Tuesday with a seemingly plumper smile, people immediately jumped to the conclusion that she had gone under the knife. "Did olivia munn get her lips done?" one person tweeted. "What a shame. She's such a natural beauty. There was no need to do that," another (very judgy) Twitter user wrote. However, it was actually just makeup that had slightly transformed her appearance, and she later showed these folks what was up on social media.

For the record, if someone wants to get plastic surgery, that's totally their choice and their right. Munn, however, has yet to make that choice. In her Instagram Story later on Tuesday, she shared a selfie video in which she deglammed herself before a flight, revealing that her volume came not from lip fillers but from some skilled overlining by makeup artist Mary Phillips. "On my way to the airport, so gotta bring down my makeup," Munn says in the video, stopping halfway through wiping her lipstick off with a tissue to show the drastic difference the makeup had made. "Bye bye luscious lips!" she captioned another clip, in which she sits, fresh-faced, on the plane.

In an Instagram post of her own, Phillips shared how you, too, can temporarily plump up your lips like the X-Men: Apocalypse star. "On the 👄 we mixed 'Mystic' and 'Rose' from the @nudestix Love Me Nudes palette for an effortlessly beautiful look that flattered the eyes," she wrote.

This isn't the first time Munn has had to shoot down plastic surgery rumors. Back in February 2016, after facing an endless stream of comments speculating about her glowy skin, more defined cheekbones and jawline, and somewhat lifted eyelid area, the 37-year-old penned a (since-deleted) Instagram post to explain the changes. "I lost 12 pounds this past year while training for Xmen...The weight loss leaned out my cheeks and jawline," she started, according to Us Weekly.

"I let the top of my brows grow in (which is never fun because it looks spotty for a few weeks) and then I plucked the bottom. That gave my brows a more horizontal angle and instantly brightened my eyes." Munn went on: "For the past year I've been diligently using Proactiv Mark Fading Pads. I wipe my face with one every night and now my face has a more even tone and the large spots aren't as noticeable." Regardless of what she's doing, she looks great, and she shouldn't have to explain it to anyone.
