The Flags Across America Annual Northeast El Paso Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony was held Thursday morning.

The parade route began on the corner of Stahala Drive and Hondo Pass Drive and continued through Diana Drive on to the “Old Glory Memorial” Flag Site at 9550 Gateway N Boulevard.

The parade included the Ft. Bliss 1st AD Color Guard and March On, 1st AD Marching Band, Boys and Girl Scouts, and El Paso Veteran and community groups.

This year's theme is “United We Stand.”

A ceremony hosted by El Paso Texas Flags Across America ended the event at Old Glory Memorial.

Keynote speaker was Col. (RET) Michael Hester, Former 1st Armored Division Chief of Staff and Fort Bliss Garrison Commander.
