She explained the religion offered courses on communication and improving relationships, and said Scientology's drug rehabilitation and criminal reform programs had high success rates.

The religion plays a huge part in Jenna's daily life, and the actress says it's become integral to her overall happiness and well-being.

'I use it every single day of my life and it keeps me energized and vivacious and happy.'

Jenna also urged people to do their own research into the controversial religion rather than 'believe everything they hear or read on the internet.'

She defended the religion, adding, 'I think that anything that works tends to get attacked.'
