Man Accused Of Armed Robbery In Newark Wanted By Police

Police have issued an arrest warrant for William Torres, 25, in connection with a recent armed robbery in Newark.

NEWARK, NJ — Newark police have issued an arrest warrant for William Torres, 25, in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Friday, Nov. 19, 2021.

While police are actively searching for Torres, they seek the public’s help in quickly locating him as part of their investigation.

He is described as approximately 5’7” tall, 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Police urge anyone with information on the whereabouts of William Torres to call the police division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
