A Veteran Character Actor Joins The Cast

With consistent news finally beginning to flow in about the spinoff, the latest update sees a veteran character actor join the cast of Dead City season 2. Sons of Anarchy alum Kim Coates has been tapped to play the role of Bruegel, a NYC gang leader who is more manipulative and cunning than he may appear on the surface. Coates joins the likes of Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan who are reprising their roles from both The Walking Dead and Dead City season 1.

In addition to Lauren Cohan (Maggie) and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan), Dead City is also bringing back Mahina Napolean (Ginny), and she was confirmed to be returning to film more episodes sometime in 2023 (via MidWeek). And though there’s been no confirmation regarding the other actors returning for the Dead City season 2 cast, it can be assumed that Gauis Armstrong (Perlie) and Željko Ivanek (The Croat) will stay on as series regulars since both of their characters are among the few who survived Dead City’s first chapter. Also, Lisa Emery’s The Dama is poised to serve as a major antagonist.
