As a student currently in North Olmsted High School, it’s been a pleasure to be in a new built building for our education. But with that being said I would love for them to prepare the students for college starting freshman year. More so just to give a heads up to what colleges look for. I do love the safe atmosphere in school and out of school. I wish that the teacher to student ratio was more available. North Olmsted high school offers different language classes and added Arabic and advance Arabic. Something new compared to other high schools. I took up a few college credit classes my sophomore year and ended up taking advance placement classes junior and senior year. That’s a great option to have in high school.
It's hard not to enjoy being in a beautiful new building like North Olmsted has to offer, and I've had very few poor experiences with the faculty here. It's more so the students around me who display acts of immaturity and a general lack of caring for their academics. In addition to this, the elective options were very slim and unappealing when I was choosing my classes. Otherwise, I enjoy the school and don't mind going there.
It was a well rounded school, but overall needs improvement on areas listed less than average, like the education and resources. As well as the college readiness for juniors and seniors. The school is clean and nice, and staff is decent, but like said, could use improvements in certain areas.
