Good Morning North High Redhawks
Today is Wednesday, April 24, 2024 and here is your student bulletin.
Please stop all movement in the hallways and classrooms.
Please stand and join me for the Pledge of Allegiance.
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America,
And to the Republic for which it stands,
One Nation under God,
Indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all.
North High would like to welcome our honored guest from AVID.
Reminder the library is closed today and tutoring is cancelled all day today, Wednesday, April 24th.
Attention seniors, the North High Scholarship is now open! This scholarship is only for North High Seniors! The application was sent to your student email. All applications are due Friday, April 26th!
Attention North High Bands, Singers and Musicians! We are looking to highlight your talents at North High’s most important event, Waterfest! If you are interested in performing at Waterfest, see Mr. Foote in F110 for more information. Music acts must audition with Mr Foote before Thursday, April 25th in order to be included. Again, North High musicians, see Mr. Foote in F110 to sign up for your spot at Waterfest this year.
There will be a meeting for all girls interested in playing basketball next school year held in the conference room next to the AD office during lunch and during advocacy this Thursday, 4/25. If athletes want to attend during advocacy, then they need to get a pass in their agenda from Coach Smith or Mr. Ghram ahead of time. Please attend one of the meetings so you can get information on summer conditioning, expectations and meet the new coaches.
There will be a mandatory meeting for anyone interested in playing football for the 2024-2025 school year on Tuesday, April 30th during Advocacy. Get a pre-signed pass from any football coach.
The elevator is out of order this morning, during second chance breakfast we will have 2 carts in front of the cafeteria doors, one where A hall meets B hall, and the last one where C hall meets F hall.
North High students and staff – On Friday, April 26th we will be having our Waterfest event. It will be held in the afternoon from 1:40 – 3:10. There is a change in the schedule so look for those in the hallways. There are many events for you to get involved in: tug of war, kayaking, canoeing, dunk tank, etc. Many vendors will be selling items for you to buy. If you signed up for canoeing or kayaking, you must have a released signed before the event by your parent/guardian. This will be an exciting annual event and is an AWESOME tradition at Wichita North High School.
