Nombach Roofing & Tuckpointing

Waste of time, these guys must have more business then they know what to do with. Told me my roof is too steep and they won't do the job. The house is on the west side and I've had curious interactions with appraisers and insurance companies, until they find out I'm white... maybe that's the story here?

Submitted a online request for an estimated and never heard back. Called a few months later to schedule and my info was in the system. The associate referenced I received an estimate but that was not the case. Made an appointment and provided an email, cell and home number. The day of I received a called but missed it. When I called the number back "George" stated since he didn't hear back from me the appointment was cancelled. He claims a text and email was sent and I told him that I didn't receive either. He was very rude and unprofessional. Not worth the time....too bad I can't select zero stars.

I called Nombach because I had a rental property with a severely damaged roof, they came out gave us our options and we decided to go with a full tear-off. I'm glad we did because the wood in several places was damaged. The work was done in a timely matter, they cleaned up debri and left my roof amazing. I'm so happy I chose Nomach, and would definitely recommend them.

We needed our roof replaced and spoke to several roofing companies but decided to go with Nombach based on their outstanding customer service!! Nombach went above and beyond to not only work with our insurance company to get the very best negotiations needed to get the work completed for our leaking roof and also the drywall needed to be repaired in our living room. Nombach worked countless hours with our insurance to ensure they were provided us with the most money needed to repair both the roof and the drywall needed. When it was all said and done Nombach saved us thousands of dollars in repairs and we had money left over to spare for the additional work that needed to be done. Thank you Nombach for the help and hard work.

I have tried to use this company for about the last 3 years. Their customer service is absolutely atrocious. I had to damn near beg one of the representatives to call me back for a period of weeks. I left several voicemails and gave my contact info. I never received a call back. I again tried to use them this year for a free estimate on my roof, which I was told they were able to do. When I got the call from their office, the person I spoke to on the phone wasn't the most pleasant and hung up without a proper goodbye. He also asked questions that were irrelevant to the job I needed them to, which I didn't appreciate. Prior to him hanging up though, he told me it would cost $185.00 for them to come out. Again, I was told an estimate would be free. Nombach has proven themselves to be unreliable for years now. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy.

From start to finish... great roofing company. Great communication, attention to detail, great value, clean up their work area during the process.

Shady. Nothing but upsell. I wanted a small repair on a gutter and they wanted to do my entire roof. When i stated that i couldn't afford it, they insisted that the insurance company would pay. I naively agreed. Now I'm on the hook. Yes..it's my fault. Lesson learned. Pay attention next time. Cute roof tho.

If you want to pay close to 20 grand to a company to fix a simple roof leak, only to have it continue to leak, and have them ignore your phone calls and emails while it is still under warranty, definitely go with Nombach! Contractors in all of Chicago could use some communication skills and improvements, but these folks really take the cake.

I'm better off going up there myself and patching with rubberized cement from Lowe's. It will deal with the problem better and fast and cheaper than this company, who fix everything but the problem.

From Start to finish the experience I had with this company was very thorough & transparent.

The sales process was painless with Jack & Otero was exceptionally knowledgeable!

The whole company is very personal & they teat you as if you were family!

Just wanted to say that this company came highly recommended but all I got was highly disappointed. They installed my gutters on the side of my house and 18 months later, they had a great fall ( like Humpty Dumpty just in case you didn't get the reference) the wood is splintered because of old wood and I have a daily fight with rodents coming through where the gutters fell. I feel cheated and very unhappy and the only solution they had was to charge me to fix the bad job they did to begin with.
