5.0 out of 5 starsTrue Story About Serial Killer Harvey Robinson
Reviewed in the United States on March 29, 2019
This happened in the 90's in Allentown PA, a town without crime. His first victim was a 15 year old papergirl, that was up at 5 am every day delivering newspapers. She was raped and brutally stabbed to death. (overkill) The next was a single woman who had her house broken into, then 2 weeks later was raped, bludgeoned, and stabbed. She DID escape him, but he followed her outside and finished the job. His next victim was a 5 year old girl that was raped, strangled, and left for dead, but she survived. They never revealed her condition after the assault. There was another woman raped and stabbed to death, then, the woman this movie was based on. He actually DID break into her house 3 times trying to murder her...even with the alarm system. They did have an officer placed in her home at night for 2 weeks (there was never a particular date he committed his crimes) Close to the end of the 2 weeks was the 3rd time he broke in. There was quite a gunfight in the house and he crashed through a large window to escape. There was a lot of blood, but they thought it was from crashing through the window. The police notified the hospitals regarding some cuts or gunshot wounds. 2 hours later, he went to the hospital with a gunshot wound in the abdomen. All of this happened in one year. HE WAS A 17 YEAR OLD HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT. (But a BIG guy, kinda looked like a football player) I believe he was arrested on his 18th birthday and was sentenced on his 19th birthday. He was a normal student, lived at home with his parents and had a girlfriend. He NEVER spoke a word, not to his victims, not to the police, and not in court. He did receive the death penalty, but it was reduced to life without parole because he was a minor. I watched a docudrama on him and it was SCARY! I Googled his name and found out about this movie...there were several made.
