Letters from the Fire delivers a rock experience so different yet so similar to their trademark sound in this self-titled masterpiece. A follow up to their debut album, "Worth the Pain," the band, after a lineup change that included the departure and replacement of both their vocalist and drummer, this album SCREAMS freedom, a thematic change from their 2016 record in which the central theme was being trapped. The effort put into making this album is prominent in every track. So cohesive and quite sobering in truth and the harsh reality of the world, vocalist Nina Bergman does not hold back one bit. Highlights include Harley, Comfort You, Scream, Naked in the Rain, Xplode and Safe Word. You cannot miss this jewel in the world of rock.
I am listening to it now I like but still miss the older singer i think it might make me take a couple of listens to like her but the band is still good
Full force CD from Letters From the Fire. Very high quality recording as well. I always liked the band's musical ability, I feel that the addition of Nina on vocals adds a new dynamic to take the band to the next level as well. I would say buy the physical copy, non compressed and cool packaging! Comes with new photos, a gatefold sleeve and full lyrical booklet. Alex Prieto does an amazing job with the mix, it is loud when it needs to be quiet when it needs to be. clear distinction between instruments. Really like the new revamped band, forget the past and forge ahead into the future with Letters from the Fire! Watch for Nina Bergman in the new Doom Movie and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. The band has a short tour this Summer! Support this music it is great!
These are my initial thoughts after listening to the new CD. I plan to post a more detailed review on Dan's Movie Report soon.
Great album . New vocalist and I must admit I thought the previous one was superb . However this one is great as well and some great songs on this album . Another great female rock sounding vocalist .
