Covid Pneumonia with night sweats
So I was fighting with fevers and coughs and got admitted to the hospital on the 8th day. I was diagnosed with pneumonia from Covid and got discharged after 2 days. The good thing is the persistent fever has stopped but what bother me is those night sweats. I went to bed with normal room temp but always woke up with my pants and shirts soaked wet. I had to get up and changed it 3, 4 times a night. Does this happen to anyone ?
My Mother had the same thing with night sweats, it finally subsided around day 12
Thanks for your information. Have your mom fully recuperated ?
Yes, she did, after 2 weeks she was pretty ok and still is, it's been almost 3 months after her recovery.
Was she in the hospital as well?
I have pneumonia with two negative Covid tests. They say the pneumonia is not Covid related, yet many symptoms are exactly the same. I had a couple nights with sweats and a fever. Woke up 2 or 3 times to change. My temperature is up and down, sometimes low, sometimes high but not extreme. The last two nights the sweats have been terrible. Changing 4 times. I’ve tried wearing less, less covers, no difference.

How long did you have a fever for?
I had it for a week before I got admitted to the hospital
How were you able to break your fever? My husband is on day 7 of fever now
It only stopped when they gave me antibiotics, potassium, and some kind of steroids for breathing as I could remember. If your husband still have fevers and shortness of breath, just take him to the ER. I hope he feels better soon.
