Nicole Kidman Looks Totally Different in Bold Hair Transformation

Nicole Kidman decided to switch things up after finishing filming for an upcoming project, forgoing a soft reddish-blond color for something bolder and brighter.

The Expats actress debuted the new look on Instagram, modeling her bright blond bob, which hit right below her shoulders, while wearing an oversized black leather jacket from Balenciaga. She tagged Adir Abergel as her hairstylist, and he also shared some photos on his account, revealing that the fun transformation happened in Germany.

With the new hair, dark jacket and soft makeup done by Gucci Westman, Kidman proved once again that she can do any style, whether it's elegant, whimsical or edgy like this. 

Fans really loved the new look, and one even declared the 'do, "Best haircut ever on you Nicole!"

"I really like the hair, the color and the style really good on you ❤," said another fan.

Before her latest look, Kidman's hair was a strawberry blond color as she filmed her upcoming flick Babygirl, co-starring Harris Dickinson and Antonio Banderas.

At the start of March, a photojournalist whose TikTok username is @mickmicknyc shared a video showing behind-the-scenes on set as Kidman filmed a stunt involving a dog attacking her on the street. The star wore her light-colored hair in a relaxed bun as she acted out the scene. 

Before this, Kidman promoted her newest project, Expats. At the time, Kidman's hair was a little redder, perfectly offsetting a tan-colored dress she wore on the red carpet while attending the show's premiere with her husband, Keith Urban.

It's unclear if Kidman's new look is simply for fun or associated with one of her many upcoming projects. Along with Babygirl, Kidman will soon star in a TV miniseries called The Perfect Couple, play medical examiner Kay Scarpetta in a series of the same name, and voice a character in the animated film Spellbound, among other roles.
