BBC Radio 1 presenter Nick Grimshaw looked pretty loved up this weekend as he made his public debut with boyfriend Meshach Henry.

Walking hand-in-hand as they headed to the Ashley Williams London Fashion Week show on Friday night, the 34-year-old star took the lead as he was followed by his 22-year-old boyfriend, a dancer at leading independent company Rambert.

Wearing a green jacket over the top of a Saint Laurent hoodie and yellow chequered trousers, Nick looked pretty chuffed as he made his big entrance before sitting on the front row with his partner – seemingly the first time they’ve posed for photos together in public.

Then on Saturday the two took in the sights of Nick’s friend Alexa Chung’s fashion week show, where the suited duo held hands as they watched the models strut their stuff.

The two were first said to be dating when they were spotted at the swanky star-studded hangout Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire in October of last year, not long after Nick had bemoaned how difficult dating was.

A source had previously told The Sun about the popular presenter’s love life: ‘Nick has found dating quite tough in recent years because of his job.

‘But he met Mesh a few months ago and although it’s still early days they are really enjoying their time together. They are taking things easy and not putting any pressure on anything.

Nick really likes him, and his friends are thrilled he has found someone who makes him happy.’

In January the pair headed off to the Maldives with Nick’s BFF Rita Ora, where they became social media official and shared a cute snap as they frolicked on the sand.

Nick had previously joked his early-morning job hosting the Breakfast gig for six years left him ‘celibate’ due to the awfully early alarm that would get him into the Radio 1 studios, before Greg James took the microphone in August and Nick moved to the 4pm Drive show.

He told The Mirror at the time: ‘I have committed to this show, especially the last year, and I have put my head down. But now I can go for dates with people and the new show will help.

‘I have been trying to date people, but you don’t want to ‘day date’ and even two weeks ago, I went on a date and then he said, “do you want to go to the cinema, it’s at 8.20pm?”.

‘And I was thinking, “8.20, arrggh the film won’t start until ten-to-nine so it won’t finish before 11” so home and asleep at midnight and that is if I fall asleep straight away.’
