Nick Grimshaw has been rumoured to be dating tattooed photographer, Michael Maylon, since July this year but has not commented on the speculation.

However, last night a mutual friend of the boys, Jack Guinness, shared the most telling hint yet - posting an Instagram photo of Michael snuggling up to Nick’s dog, Pig, at Nick’s home.

Hmmm, the plot thickens.

To be fair, it could have just been a friendly get together with Jack and also Pixie Geldof being among the pals joining Michael and Nick last night, but we reckon the hunk’s strong relationship with Pig is basically evidence that they spend a lot of time together, after all, Pig is effectively Nick’s child.

Over the festival season, rumours were rife that Nick had found love with his friend, with a source telling The Sun at the time: “Nick and Michael started off as mates but things have been developing lately.

"They have loads in common and have been hanging out a lot. After spending much of Glastonbury in each other’s company they celebrated Michael’s birthday with a trip to the nearby Babington House hotel.”

Sounds like a birthday to remember, to be honest.

Despite supposedly being close with Michael, it doesn’t stop Nick from talking about celebrity hunks that he fancies, recently telling The Mirror that he is so in love with David Beckham that he struggles to remain professional when he interviews him.

Which, by the way, we reckon is a pretty common side effect of being in Becks’ presence.

Speaking at the Pride of Britain Awards, the Radio 1 DJ gushed: “You can’t not get starstruck by Beckham. I mean, that face. It’s ridiculous. You try and play it cool, you try and have a conversation.

"I lose all charm and wit and everything whenever I speak to him. I just make mumbling noises.”

Don’t worry, babes - we’re pretty sure that he gets it all the bloomin’ time.
