Breaking up is hard to do but for the friends of a love-torn couple it is often difficult to pick sides.
Unless you are Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw, 27, who delightfully decided to choose both sides after his pal Caroline Flack and teenager Harry Styles split.
And while some might say he is the perfect pal to both, having cuddly nights in with Flack, 32, while heading out on the lash with One Direction's floppy-haired frontman, others could say it will only end in tears.

But for Grimmy, as he is known on the airwaves, the perfect Valentine's Day was spent out shopping with newly single Styles.
As the pair posed for bizarre photos touching up a statue in a shop, their day only got better with a night out on the tiles in top London nightspot Groucho.
After Grimshaw's show where he interviewed another one of his celebrity pals Alexa Chung, the pair went out on the tiles with Styles.

Seen tumbling from the nightspot the pair looked as though they were wearing matching jeans and their hair looked strikingly similar.
And presenter Alexa Chung looked like she was feeling a little drained as she left the club clutching a cigarette in a red coat and black dress.

Grimshaw is known to be friends with both stars and Flack was obviously trying to suggest something when she posted a Twiiter picture of the DJ in her bed.
And as she posted the pic, she told her 613,381 followers: 'I really, really, really, really, really, REALLY fancy @grimmers.'
A friend said last week: 'Caroline and Nick have been really close since she and Harry split.

'She spent an evening at his north London home where they cuddled up under a duvet together.
'They get along like a house on fire and Nick's been a shoulder for her to cry on.'
But Grimmy is following the age-old saying of not taking sides when two of his mutual freinds break up, although in these pictures the DJ looks quite at home with his pop star pal.
