Nick Carter’s wife, Lauren, pregnant after miscarriages

Nick Carter and wife Lauren Kitt Carter have another baby on the way — which came as a total shock to the couple.

The Carters — who are the parents of son Odin, 4, and daughter Saoirse, 15 months — told People they’ve gone through “multiple miscarriages” over the years and never expected to naturally conceive again.

“I thought I had a tumor because there was just no way that I could be pregnant, from just my medical history and the things that I did to ensure that I just had my two children,” Lauren told People of finding out she’s expecting, adding: “Even Nick, like a couple of weeks prior to that, was talking about possibly getting a surrogate, possibly having a third child. It was just something we were talking about.”

Lauren, 37, said she didn’t realize she was pregnant until she went to her doctor at five-and-a-half-months along.

“I didn’t have any symptoms, I didn’t have anything indicating that I was pregnant,” she said. “One day I just, I felt something move in my body and I said, ‘Nick, there’s something not right. I think I need to go to the doctor. Something’s wrong with me.’ I was not supposed to be able to have any more children, so I never assumed that I was pregnant.”

The actress is due in April.

On Wednesday, the Backstreet Boy, 40, also posted an ultrasound image with the caption, “Sometimes life blesses you with little surprises. 🥰.”

The family has been quarantining at their Las Vegas home amid the coronavirus pandemic, with Nick telling People: “For us, it’s all about just creating an environment for our children that is peaceful,.”

The couple wed in 2014.
