Viewed many a film here, in great seats (as seats are reserved, I recommend either coming early to purchase tickets in advance, or using the AMC app to buy the tickets in advance). The cinemas are generally clean and comfortable, and the Dolby theater (there's only one) is great, often showing off the latest blockbuster movies, though typically only for a week per movie, which is a shame. IMAX quality is also ok, though Digital is better worth for the price. Service is also generally ok, though nothing amazing.
Where this place loses points for me is in its male bathroom. In my last few trips here, the bathroom smells of throw-up, and even though I can see they tried cleaning the bathroom, the smell is still there. The floor is often wet, and many a toilet unflushed. They need to check the bathrooms and clean them more often here.

Loved the reclining seats, sooo comfy! Great price for an evening out. Hadn’t been expecting such nice seating so this was a pleasant surprise. Like all cinemas in the states great selection of food & sodas available as well. Near to the Georgetown riverside so some nice restaurants nearby as well. We got the bus from Pennsylvania Ave for $1

This is a wonderful theater with reclining seats and large screens. Very clean. It is right at the waterfront and easy to get an Uber too.

Truly one of the worst theater experiences I have ever had. Absolutely FILTHY concessions stand (popcorn and litter absolutely everywhere), which carried through into the theater. Very young, unchaperoned teenage crowd. After arriving 10 minutes before the film, there was an error message on the screen until the exact time of the screening (9:55PM). Bathrooms were equally as disgusting. I highly recommend avoiding this theater and other AMC establishments, which have completely lost the advantage to competitors like Regal and CMX cinemas.

I tried to attend a movie at AMC Loews Georgetown, after having purchased two tickets on Fandango. A few minutes before the film was scheduled to begin, a theater employee announced that the projector was broken and asked the (small) group to return to the lobby for a refund. The theater staff had difficulty processing my refund (there were two seats on one electronic Fandango ticket, which apparently threw them). After 45 minutes, they were able to refund one of my two tickets and said they couldn't figure out how to refund the second. I asked them to just dip into the till and give me cash, but they refused.
Unbelievably inept employees, stunningly bad customer service. While they did give me two coupons for a future show (which, given the experience, I will not use), I am out the trip to the theater and the price of a movie I didn't get to see.

You know why ? Because apparently, an Idea Card by phone or a card from you're university doesn't prove the fact that you have 18 years old or more to see a R-rated Movie. 2 times I couldn't see a movie on this cinema because it was apparently "too violent" to see Once Upon a time in Hollywood or Joker.
Thanks to didn't accept me to you're cinema, im not going to go back there again for sure.

If you have to park, plan on paying $9 nearby. If not, then don't worry about that cost. The theatre we were in has you picking your seats, this was the first AMC I had been to that I had to do this. The theatre also has a full bar, the drinks can be brought in the theatre, this can be good and bad. We didn't see anyone drunk and stupid, so the idea was good. The seats in the theatre are awesome. In pairs they can individually lounge electrically. There is plenty of room, even for larger folks. The center arm console can go up if you have a loved one to snuggle with. I would not normally give a 5 star to a movie theatre, but this one is awesome and the prices were no different than my local theatre without all the bells and whistles.

This was my second year attending the AMC 24 Hour Marathon ... they show all the best picture nominees ... for a very reasonable price. But, they haven't learned how to control the temperature in the theater, blamed the heat on those attending. They do trivia contests, give away prizes. This year they didn't offer a nice continental breakfast as we were leaving like they did last year. I probably won't do it next year ... the heat is so uncomfortable and the nice reclining seats just don't make up for the heat!

AMC Georgetown theatre is a fairly new movie theatre complex. The environment was very clean with a friendly staff from ticket counter experience to the concession personnel. The seating is stadium like with very comfortable reclining lounger seating.
All in all a very pleasant movie theatre going experience

Food, Adult beverages and Movies. What a great combination.
Seats are super comfortable and they recline way back. Such comfort and you are not lost in the size of the theater.
Affordable movies, kiosk check in (if you want) and nice location.
