Stayed 2 nights. Service was friendly, room was clean and comfortable. Love the lighting system that was of industrial type and unique. Upgraded to use the M lounge with free snacks, beverages and breakfast. Not many great restaurants within walking distance except the Queen Italian restaurant along Court St. Found that Brooklyn bridge area has many governmental buildings.
The hotel is very nice and clean. Great shops and amenities nearby and the location is amazing but I did not get any good night's sleeps during my stay because the rooms are not soundproof. Made for a very exhausting stay
Recently we stayed at The Mariott Bkln Bridge because of an in-house conference we were attending. Here were our 5 strikes: 1. The night we checked in was a typically blustery cold, rainy dark night in NYC. The traffic had been bad and we were tired. We really wanted a quiet and yummy dinner and to go to bed early. The hotel does not have an in-house restaurant and the restaurants around it are either touristy or cater to lunchtime office workers. They don't even have decent delivery options from local restaurants. they list several better eateries but all were long walks or taxi rides away from the hotel. We took an Uber to another neighborhood where we knew of a neighborhood-y restaurant we loved and could have a quiet and lovely dinner. However, we would have preferred to…
I stayed here for a two day conference. Beds were very comfortable, rooms were clean. There is a little refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. Right outside are plenty of dining options from convenience chains to local restaurants.
I stayed here for the BEDA/NEDA conference I was attending and the service, rooms, convenience and friendliness of the staff were impeccable. I was impressed with how smoothly the conference events went. My only minor inconvenience was that check out was at noon and my presentation ran until 12:15 so I had to pay additional for a late checkout. Worth it for the convenience of returning to my room to de stress and pack at my leisure when I was done though!
I have been staying here 4-6 times a year for the past 7 years. One can usually get a room under $300 if one books a few months in advance. At short notice it is often sold out or the rate is $500-&700! The staff is wonderful! A shout out to the guys who get you in and out of cars - thank you for always being happy and helpful! My only complaint used to be the M lounge as it was crazy during breakfast. However the new manager is working hard and trying to fix it. The next step would be to improve the quality of the food!
Had an amazing stay at the Marriott Brooklyn Bridge! Everyone from the Bellman, Front Desk, Housekeeping, to the Concierge Lounge was extremely hospitable and friendly. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone else traveling to the Brooklyn area.
Nice tidy room, about average for a Marriott property. Location was within blocks of the wedding venue. NYS has great transportation options. Walking distance to many attractions, some just over the Brooklyn Bridge.
This property is in a very good location, blocks from the Brooklyn Bridge and in an up and coming neighborhood (I used to live and work in various parts of Brooklyn). The hotel itself has a nice decor and amenities, such a pool/spa/exercise areas, as well as a good hotel bar area. The room we stayed in was excellent: spacious with bed and couch, and the bed was comfortable; enough convenient outlets; refrigerator; a good sized TV; and the bathroom/shower had good water pressure, it was clean and spacious. The room was very clean, and maid service was very accommodating. I really enjoyed the neighborhood as well as my walk across and back on the Brooklyn Bridge . . . a hotel so close to Manhattan (with numerous subway lines adjacent), but at a much better value. Highly…
I led 105 people from Portland to Brooklyn to observe the transformation of that community. We had excellent assistance from the sales and event staff all the way through the process, the food and bar are good, and everyone there, including the manager, defies what most of us west-coasters think of New Yorkers! They were all awesome and wonderfully courteous and helpful! Special commendation to Tara, Candis, and Beverly, who were all extremely helpful!
