We recently switched from cable to PlayStation Vue and while it's great, we lost our local news channel News 12 NJ. Turns out there's a live stream online!

You need to have kodi on your firetv to watch news12..
Did you ever get it working? I just tried the Kodi addon but it appears that it's not supported any longer

they have an app in the Amazon marketplace already.
is it news 12nj or news 12 long island?
you would need a cable subscription to watch news12 from the amazon market, with kodi no subscription needed..
It's on the Amazon marketplace? I thought it wasn't available for the Fire TV... I must have missed this somehow! I'll look tonight when I get home.

Yes, I'll install the latest version tonight (16.1 Jarvis). I tried the version on SuperRepo earlier today with a PC build of Kodi and it said it wasn't supported.
