Very centrally located, which is especially great if you're arriving in Neustadt by train! The hotel was busier than we had expected, but we had not known there was a wine festival when we made the reservation (we were attending a private party in Maikammer). Can recommend exploring the area between the hotel and the Marktplatz - there is an amazing fountain with sculptures by Gernot Rumpf - small children will delight in it (and the kid inside you will love it too)!

Parking was terrible, but I don't think the hotel can be blamed, as there was a wine festival being held, and it was located in one of the train station's car parks, which meant we spent an hour looking for a parking space (tip: think of using the nearby Tiefgarage if you struggle to find anything on-street, or you are unable to get parking from the hotel, which is what happened to us).

Excellent family room on top floor with little outside patio veranda area and multiple rooms all on one apartment like.

The parking garage under the hotel does not always have enough space and the roof is too low for a car with a roof box. We parked on the street which you can do out of ours at night.

No air conditioning and room very warm even with windows open. Very limited and tight parking spaces in the underground garage.

The premises were clean, the bed was comfortable and there was good pressure in the shower.

The decor was a bit dowdy, specifically the carpets and the wardrobes. Not a deal breaker, but not particularly attractive.

The personal was very friendly and helpful

Very high price for so very old rooms. No AC.
